What to do
Beach activities: Huntington Beach RV Campground gives direct beach access during operational months. "We had beach front views, everything was clean and other rv'ers were friendly," notes Isabel L. "At night, you can build a bonfire, which is really fun and one of the few spots in Orange County that you can do this."

"My family loves this place we were here before the remodeling and we are still faithful returners every year for the past 20+ years," reports Ametra J. The park includes a splash pad, pool and lake access for various water activities.

What you should know
Seasonal operations: Not all RV parks near San Juan Capistrano operate year-round. "This opens back up in October due to the high traffic of summer visitors. Basically a parking lot on the beach that you can stay and enjoy beachfront," explains Brittney C. about Huntington Beach RV Campground, which only operates October through May.
Internet limitations: Digital nomads should research connectivity options before booking. At Launch Pointe Recreation Destination and RV Park, one camper reported: "Internet was great but it had bandwidth restraints that would turn your internet off after very small amounts of data used. There was no option to upgrade so you had to use your own hotspots."
