The Best Tent Camping Near Micaflores, California

Climb 700 feet up a dirt road in only 1.5 miles to a secluded Mountainous camping with a view of the Regenerative Organic Avocado and Citrus grove and views of the city lights at night. The farm has over 700 avocados trees with 9 varieties of avocados and 20 various citrus and nut trees. We have chickens, ducks, and Guinea Fowl and plenty of wildlife including: hawks, Owls, bunnies and more which all contribute to Regenerative Organic and offer viewing pleasure. The local area provides hiking, wildlife mountain biking, lakes and 35 minutes to the nearest wine tasting in Temecula. We are an hour from the beach and roughly an hour and half to Skiing and Snowboarding at Mt. High. The property sits roughly 2000 ft above sea level and 800 ft above the city below. The 21 acre property provides amazing views as well as biking and hiking along the local fire roads and farm roads. Minutes away from Santa Rosa Plateau for hiking. You are also a 20-30 minute drive to explore the amenities of the local cities, wine country and 45 minutes to the beach.. We offer Camping supplies such as tents or chairs if needed for a small rental fee as well as the ability to purchase fresh avocados, citrus or Farm fresh eggs from the grove. Get away for a short trip for a relaxing destress weekend. If you have a larger party you can message us at 951-477-5114 and we can work with you on another camp location we have for special occasions (summer months of June through September can be hot so bring shade or you can rent an ez up from us, please check the weather in Wildomar Ca before camping).



Zephyr Mountain Avocado Grove

**Eligibility:** The following personnel are eligible to use the JFTB RV Park(s) and Storage: Active Duty, Retired Military Personnel, and DoD employees. *Military identification will be required to verify affiliation.

All guests at the JFTB RV Park and Storage must register at the Billeting office in building 19, during office hours prior to entering. Check-in time is after 1300 hours and check-out is before 1100 hours. Guests failing to vacate their assigned site and do not return keys by check-out time will be charged an additional day of rent.

**Please note: There are no RV sites only one camper van site. The parking is on a hill and you walk in your gear.**

This is a great spot for a group who doesn’t mind getting out of the way of people in exchange for a short hike. Parking is a short but steep hike away from the campsite, and it is unlikely that you’ll see any other campers during your stay. The weather is warm, the sunsets are epic and the views are spectacular looking towards Angeles crest national forest. We do have stoves however open fires aren’t allowed within the city limits, and it is a very high fire area. Stoves and fire extinguishers are available for the cost of fuel as well as full camp gear if you are worried about not having stuff. From the campground you can hike some awesome trails, and be able to really get out in nature. There is water a 100 ft away, and there is a bathtub for the adventurous bather that overlooks the city. There is one restroom as well as one shower stall and a small kitchenette shared with 2 other campsites. We like city locals looking for a place to test out backpacking and camping gear while being 5 min driving distance to a Starbucks.

This LA based bohemian homestead farm is a great camping stop. We have 20 hillside acres nestled in the hills of Sunland / North Los Angeles, CA We have tent only sites with picnic benches, flat soft campsites, no fire pits, but amazing views of the valley and mountains. Great for a short getaway in the LA area.

Chino Hills State Park

The Moro campground, which is located on a bluff top with unparalleled ocean views, features 27 hookup sites, 30 non-hookup tent sites, both of which include 3 ADA-accessible sites each. We also feature primitive hike-in camping in our backcountry, which has 32 sites spread out across 3 areas. Although it does require a strenuous hike, it provides a peaceful refuge from the urban surroundings.


Moro Campground - Crystal Cove State Park

Camping in the Lower Moro,  Upper Moro, and Deer Canyon Campsites

    This is not beach camping. All Crystal Cove Primitive tent sites are accessible only by foot, and require at least a 3 mile hike inland from the parking lot.
    No drinking water is available, all belongings and trash must be packed in and packed out with you.
    There are no wood or charcoal fires permitted in the park. Only backpack stoves are permitted.
    No pets are allowed
    Fees include entry for 1 vehicle. Any additional vehicle will be $15 per night.
    Park is open year-round.
    All reservations are made through Reserve California, you can visit them at www.reservecalifornia.com or call 1-800-444-7275. Reservations can be made 48 hours to 7 months in advance.  Check-in/Check-out is at 9am Daily.
