Best RV Parks & Resorts near Bryant, AR

Several RV parks near Bryant, Arkansas provide full hookup options for motorhomes and travel trailers. Cloud Nine RV Park offers level sites with well-packed aggregate, full hookups including 50-amp service, and clean facilities approximately 10-12 miles outside Hot Springs. Downtown Riverside RV Park in North Little Rock features concrete pads with full hookups and gated security, though sites are arranged in a parking lot configuration. "At first entrance it appears as if you are entering a large parking lot. There is a large pavilion to picnic and pet area by the water," noted one RV traveler. JB's RV Park & Campground in Benton accommodates big rigs with 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections, while Treasure Isle RV Park provides pull-through sites on Lake Hamilton with cable and WiFi connectivity.

Most RV parks in the region remain open year-round, though some like Tar Camp operate seasonally from March through October. Cell service varies significantly between locations, with stronger coverage in North Little Rock and diminishing reception in more remote areas. Dump stations are available at most parks, though their placement sometimes requires planning—Willow Beach campers noted "the entire campground is a good hike to the dumpster and dump station." Pet-friendly policies are common throughout the area's RV parks, with several offering designated dog areas. Navigation to some parks requires attention to road conditions; Cloud Nine RV Park visitors mentioned taking wide turns on the approach road and watching for bumpy sections despite the park's efforts to maintain the surface.

    Catherine's Landing

    Very Nice, Lots of Amenities

Catherine’s Landing is a great RV park with lots of amenities and things happening. This park is an RVC Outdoor Destination property which is known for their “resort” amenities. The park is set on 400 acres with one mile bordering Lake Catherine and about eight or nine miles from downtown Hot Springs.

All roads, sites and patios are paved and this is definitely a big rig-friendly park. Every site has water, 50/30 amp, sewer, cable, and wifi. Fire pits and picnic tables accompany all sites. There are a variety of sites ranging from waterfront back-in, pull-thrus, or interior back-in. Waterfront sites have a nice view of the lake from the back of the site and access for fishing. The park also has yurts and cottages (some of which are pet-friendly). Adjacent to the yurts is a nice, large covered picnic area with grills, a dish washing station.

Lots and lots of amenities here. Hiking trails, swimming pool, fitness center, lounge, playground, dog park, zip-line, boat rental, boat launch, store, and disc golf. Some amenities (boat rentals and zip-line) are an extra charge.

Hot Springs is a nice little town nestled in the Ouachita Mountains with interesting history and natural beauty. We found plenty to do from hiking the National Park to learning about the bathhouse history to discovering the gangster influence. We spent four nights and could have stayed longer with all that the town offers. Most people come here to bathe in the soothing warm mineral waters but there is also a horse racetrack, science museum, off road track, water/theme park, alligator farm, and a few museums. Hot Springs National Park has miles and miles of great hiking trails and a great place to spend an afternoon. The town of Hot Springs is very dog-friendly and we found many places that would allow them in and on the patio for lunch.

    Pros:

    • Very nice, clean, well-manicured
    • Lots of amenities
    •  Paved level sites with paved patios
    • The dog park was a decent size for running and mingling with other dogs
    • The hiking trail(about 3 miles) was a big plus and got used a lot.

    Cons:

    • Price. We booked late and didn’t have too many sites to choose from we had to pay for a waterfront site

Petit Jean State Park — Petit Jean State Park

    Fantastic State Park

Camped here on May 1, 2025. This is one of my favorite state parks in the USA. Lots to do here. Fantastic hiking trails - rated from easy to difficult. Since I live only 45 minutes from this park, I normally come here for the day for hiking. This time, I got around to trying out the park's campground. This popular campround is divided into 4 areas - A through D. There are a total of 125 campsites, including 26 pull-through sites. Thirty-five of the sites are Class AAA sites which have 50 amp electrical, water, and sewer hookups. There are 90 Class B sites offering 30 amp electrical and water hookups. All sites are reservable. Tent and hammock camping is possible depending on the sites. I camped at site 103 in Area D. The staff at the office helped me pick this site for my campervan. The site had water and 30amp service. The restroom/shower house was clean and well maintained. The campsite itself was dated but clean. The site was large and had trees around it offering a little bit of privacy. The pull-thru drieway was close to the campground road. The site included a picnic table, tent pad, lantern pole, metal fire ring, and grill. Solar charging and Starlink connectivity may not be possible at this site; Area C has an open sky above it. There was some road noise from vehicles driving on Petit Jean Mountain Road which is behind the site. Received good AT&T 5G cell service, but little to no T-Mobile 2G service.  Areas C and D are in the woods. Most of the sites in these areas are on the small size but should easily accomodate a truck camper and smaller. Not all sites are level. Areas A and B can accomodate large rigs and towables.

    Leisure Landing RV Park

    Don't Bother

Gravel parking lot with painted stripes, a patch of grass growing under the picnic table, and full hookups. Be sure to back in centered, others are complaining about hitting their slide outs. Watch your step. One of the long-term residents isn't picking up their dog waste. The nicest spot in the whole place is the little fenced-in dog spot overlooking the canal that makes its way out to the lake you can't see from here.

    Downtown Riverside RV Park

    Unique RV Experience

At first entrance it appears as if you are entering a large parking lot. There is a large pavilion to picnic and pet area by the water. Each site requires a 50 amp but the office will offer one for purchase if you need a 50 to 30 amp connections. The center lot is for pull through sites the other site areas non-pull through by water and fence. The fence area is close to the bridge but could be limited with views since it is far away from the water and Class A frequent area.

    Two things I love:

    1. The unique downtown riverside views
    2. The ease of getting to this RV park even though it is downtown Little Rock.

Gulpha Gorge Campground — Hot Springs National Park

    Beautiful, clean, great location

Beautiful, clean, great location. Camped here in Feb 2020, right on the river. Full hookups, mostly back-in but some pull throughs. Paved, level. Tent sites, too. Clean bathrooms, little camp store. Close to town. Would camp again.

    Hot Springs National Park KOA

    Clean with a dog park

D26 Back-in full hook-ups, fire ring & picnic table. 2 nights - Memorial Day weekend. Good spot, close to bath rooms/shower house/cafe. Pretty level - just 1 leveling block was all we needed for our pop-up. Lots of amenities- cafe, fishing pond, small general store, playground and off leash dog area. Staff was very friendly. Escorted you to your spot and helped us back in. Shower house was always clean. Loved the dog park! We are just starting to travel with our 2 boxers and was so nice to have an area for them to run a bit. Cons - spots are very close, no privacy. Each spot has a very bright “porch” light that is on until Midnight

    Downtown Riverside RV Park

Parking lot but close to downtown.

Talk about great location in a great town. We usually do not like camping in cities this big but wanted to come here to visit the William J. Clinton Presidential Library. And what a great location this park is to downtown Little Rock and the library. There is a pedestrian bridge that takes you over the Arkansas River to downtown and all the attractions; as well as, some great restaurants and a vibrant downtown.

This campground is essentially a parking lot.  There is no shade and our air conditioners ran non-stop since we were there in July.  There is a grassy area in front along the river that is a common area for you to enjoy the night sky. The riverfront is beautiful at night with the downtown lit up at night. Sites include 50 amp electric, water and sewer. There is also a dump station and WiFi. Some of the riverfront sites have been upgrades to concrete pads and some sites are pull-thru sites. The restrooms were clean and washers and dryers are on-site. The park takes any kind of RV from pop-up to Class A but does not accept tents. The price we paid was definitely reasonable at$22/night(with tax) but they also offer numerous discounts.

Downtown Little Rock is a great town with plenty to do, see, and eat. The great things about this park are that it is convenient to the interstate and a great price. For the location, you would expect to pay a lot more. We loved walking to town at night and enjoying the restaurants and breweries that bring the downtown to life. The weekly farmers market was a highlight and the Presidential Library is not to be missed.

    Hot Springs National Park KOA

    Pleasant

Stayed 2 nights in a basic one room cabin. Had a double bed and bunk bed. Heat /air and cable tv. They advertise WiFi but we didn’t get good reception even though our cabin was very near the office/pool/bathroom. Clean and well kept. Porch swing, fire ring and water at the site. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Pool is small. Dog play area and kids playground. Good location for exploring hot springs area.

Guide to Bryant

Camping near Bryant, Arkansas provides convenient access to both state parks and private RV facilities within a 30-mile radius. The region sits at elevations ranging from 300 to 500 feet with humid subtropical climate patterns that create moderate winter temperatures and hot, humid summers. Most campgrounds in this central Arkansas area remain open throughout the winter, though some seasonal variations in water availability occur from November through February.

What to do

Water recreation: Willow Beach offers direct Arkansas River access for boating and fishing. "Beautiful campsite along the Arkansas River. The sites are all very spacious with very long back in driveways. Some of the sites had covered picnic tables, which was great," notes Kelly E. The riverside setting provides opportunities to watch commercial river traffic.

Urban exploration: Downtown Riverside RV Park serves as an excellent base for exploring Little Rock attractions. "Great location, walkable to downtown. Good WiFi, great reception... It was nice to be parked in a place that didn't require driving to explore," explains Michelle H. A pedestrian bridge connects campers directly to downtown Little Rock.

Historical sites: Camp Robinson provides access to military history displays. "You will find a nine hole golf course, a PX and a fine Arkansas National Guard Museum. Admission is free but call 501-212-5215 for hours," according to N I. The camp's location offers convenient access to Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site and the Clinton Presidential Library.

What campers like

Privacy between sites: Willow Beach campers appreciate the spacious layout. "Large sites, Not piled in on each other like RV parks. it's a clean campground outside the city, can't beat it for the price. Waterfront. Covered picnic benches. 50amp + water," reports Justin M. Sites feature substantial separation compared to commercial RV parks.

Urban waterfront views: Riverside camping with city skyline views proves popular at Downtown Riverside RV Park. "Talk about great location in a great town... The riverfront is beautiful at night with the downtown lit up at night," shares Nancy W. The park's layout provides excellent viewing angles of evening city lights.

Cost-effective options: Treasure Isle RV Park offers discount programs for longer stays. "It accepts Passport America so I paid approximately $17/night. Has cable, WiFi, full hookups and a very nice bathhouse. Sites are very level and it's convenient to Hot Springs National Park," mentions Cheri H. The park's proximity to Hot Springs creates additional value.

What you should know

Road conditions: Cloud Nine RV Park requires careful navigation on approach roads. "Be careful on the road in. It's a little bumpy but it evident they do try to maintain it. It also has two turns that you want to take wide," advises Sarah J. Some GPS systems direct travelers incorrectly to owner properties rather than the actual park.

Security considerations: Several campgrounds implement different security approaches. "They lock a gate every night at the entrance to the campground, however they do give you the code to the padlock," explains Jennifer C. about Willow Beach. Downtown Riverside features full gated security with controlled access.

Wildlife awareness: Natural areas around Bryant present typical Arkansas wildlife challenges. "We encountered lots of snakes. I shooed a few off the road and they disappeared as soon as they slithered into the grass," notes Jennifer C. about Willow Beach. Mosquitoes can be particularly problematic in riverside locations during summer months.

Tips for camping with families

Playground access: Tar Camp offers recreational facilities for children. "Great place nice sites good fishing they have been repairing since it flooded they told me it would open up in March 2021," reports Steve S. The area underwent significant renovations following flood damage.

Bathroom considerations: Facility quality varies significantly between campgrounds. "The only downside is the bathroom/shower rooms. There are four individual ones and they all feel like the heat is on in them when it is 100° here today," reports Kelly E. about Willow Beach facilities. Several campgrounds have recently upgraded their bathroom facilities.

Swimming options: Water access varies significantly between locations. "This is a pretty campground with huge trees for shade. The sites are extremely level! I didn't even need to level my pop-up camper!!" notes Jo E. about Willow Beach. Water hyacinth blooms occur seasonally in certain water bodies.

Tips from RVers

Electrical service: J and J RV Park offers standard hookups with some considerations. "Great value for the price, $48 cash/$53 card. No online reservations... Recommend using a water pressure regulator, one of my pipes started leaking from the pressure," advises Josh F. The park's water system maintains higher-than-average pressure.

Site levelness: Most rv campgrounds near Bryant, Arkansas feature pre-leveled sites. "Our site (and I'm assuming others) is level with well-packed aggregate. The sites are fairly spacious for this type of layout," notes Derek N. about Cloud Nine RV Park. Willow Beach campers consistently mention exceptional site levelness.

Seasonal considerations: Several rv parks near Bryant implement seasonal closures. "Was a great park at one time with a boat ramp and bathrooms. Nice spot to camp with plenty of wildlife. Hope they reopen soon. WAS INFORMED 11-1-2020 That they will be opening March of 2021," shares Steve S. about Tar Camp. Weather-related closures sometimes occur with minimal advance notice.
