RangerWe just spent a long weekend at Greenbo Lake State Park. It’s a clean campground, but sites are packed in pretty tight. Not my ideal kind of camping. The kids had fun because there were about 100 kids in the campground running around. There was a vacation bible school going on. Our kids were invited to take part in activities. Really nice people all over the campground. They advertise the sites with 30 and 50 amp hookups. What they didn’t say was that you had to share a post. The people beside me already had the 50 amp. I pulled everything to run on propane that I could and plugged into the 30 amp. We just had to watch and not use electrical appliances while the air was on. It was just way too busy and loud to relax for me. I think I’m just way too spoiled by Twin Knobs. There were way too many young kids on electric bikes that were turned loose. We were almost ran over a couple of times. We were standing beside the road once talking to the camp host in his golf cart and one teen flew between us and I had to grab my 87 year old mother to get her out of the way. The host didn’t seem to care. I was just on edge the whole time trying to keep my grandkids and mom from getting ran over. There were also a bunch of golf carts driving around as late as 2 am. I sound like an old fart, but I’m just putting it out there for future campers. We were on site 53 along the creek. There was no AT&T service, but Verizon had service.
GuideWas a great spot while we were passing through and needed a place for the night.
There was not manny people there, Sites are small back in, we stayed in loop two site 69 with great shade and electric. Toilets are vault style and very old so you can imagine it’s hard to clean/keep clean.
I do like they have water fountains with faucets every 10-15 sites. As well as grey water dump stations about the same spacing but stagers with the filling.
Showers were clean but only central and shared between all loops.
We drove through loop 1 on our way out and it looked to be kept up better and cleaner.
The lake was nice but I am not sure if they recently had some weather that caused it to be pretty brown/muddy, or if that’s normal.
Camp store wasn’t open yet for the season no other staff was Seen except one guy cleaning on loop A
GuidePulled in late at night around 9pm, map was slightly confusing and our site number was facing the opposite direction of what you would think. The sites are very tight and hard to pull into, but thankfully someone came out and noticed us having trouble and helped us pull in.
There also was a wasp nest inside the electric box. Cash only or check is also a bit inconvenient and archaic in 2025.
But in the morning after the rain, it was a much prettier and the campground and lake really was beautiful.

ScoutFarver Acres is brand new! Our camper was the first RV to be connected to all the brand new hook ups. Water, electric sewer, and Wi-Fi all work great. It is a very private setting and beautiful views.
GuideThe campground is small. Has a nice dog park. Pickle ball courts Cafe Sky diving right here. The Ohio river is visible. The only real problem comes with the train tracks right here. The trains are close and do blow their whistle for crossing by the office.

RangerWe camped here for 6 nights just before Halloween, enjoyed it. Not a lot to do unless you have a boat, but it's a scenic area. Ended up here because we had to avoid our original plans due to Hurricane Helene.
