Not dog-friendly

I reserved four nights at Lowe beach so I could hook up to electricity and be close to the water with my lab. I arrived at 4pm the first day and we played in the water several times before I saw the “ No Dogs on beach” signs. park personnel kicked us off the beach the next morning and said dogs…

RV Trailer sites x Walmart

Was surprised how packed in the RV trailer sites are, they have to back into a spot on pavement between parking lines, right next to each other, the tables and grass areas are behind each parking spot. Tent sites are better since they can walk in and space out a bit. I would never camp here with…

Vernal, UT

Lots of activities for families (pool, play area), small dog area, clean restrooms, staff was very friendly. We had some vehicle troubles and the guy lent us a few tools we didn’t have and checked on us to see how it was going. Lots of things to do in the area and is close to Dinosaur NM. Also has…

No one for miles

A long, gravel road lead me here on a quiet weeknight in October 2020. Crept in driving a Honda about 15 mph on the 20+ mile dirt road. Just when I thought I couldn’t go any further, that I was hopelessly lost, I saw the sign pointing to the campground. Got out, set up a tent and started a fire (it…

Picturesque Lake Camping, Dino Prints!

Very popular campsite, and understandably so. Other reviewers got it right - this is a beautiful place to camp and we throughly enjoyed it.

Besides the wonderful scenery, our absolute favorite part of this campground is the ability to rent kayaks and kayak over to see the dinosaur footprints.…

A gem in the desert!!

What a gem! Drove 20 ish miles along a disolate desert dirt road - well maintained - to arrive on a Friday with no other people around. Four sites very close together (the only downside), all on the river. Lots is small and winding trails all over the landscape to explore. Very close to some of the…

The Old Guy Is An ass

I arrived here around 7:50pm . There were a lot of empty spaces to camp but the old & grumpy guy didn’t allowed me to camp here.

I wouldn’t recommend it. Go to “Fossil Valley Rv park & self . It’s like 6min away.

4 close sites in the middle of heaven

Rainbow Park Campground is 4 sites that are very close together offering almost NO privacy. Luckily we were the only ones there. It was magical. The ride in was about 30 minutes of a dirt road easily navigated by my Ford Transit 350. 1.7 miles before the campground road there is a must see…

Mann campground utah

We have a lovely three night stay at this campground, a Monday Tuesday Wednesday. The bathrooms are clean there’s not very many people we were the only campers in there. A few lovely Dave drives right nearby. The forest service map says that there is water here but there is no water.

Beautiful backdrop with stunning lake

The Red Fleet rock formation is spectacular and this lake is a hidden gem. Good for kayaking or boating. We did see a few kids do some cliff diving - but passed on the opportunity. Campground was clean with a nice fish cleaning station. Great place to watch the Perseid meteor shower.

Awesome campground!

This is my favorite campground with a beautiful lake!

This is it!

If you go rent the lower beach area they all come with a gazebo, grill/firepit, water spout, electricity for every or regular connector.

Parking spot for your rv or up to 3 cars.

There are public bathrooms that are really…

Wind + dust= no fun

It was extremely windy, we paid 25online to reserve it. Beautiful Lake. We camped the Indian loop. The bathrooms were the dirtiest I have ever seen. They have forest rangers when u check in and they have them around camp but I guess they don't clean the bathrooms.

Red rock awesomeness

We rented a TeePee site. It was fun for the kids to sleep in a TeePee. There was a small table with a roof over it. The was also a grill box that we set our gas stove on top of for cooking. The campground sits higher than the day use area. The bathroom had a flush toilet which is really nice. We…
