Nice city RV park

We were the only ones camping the first night and 1 other RV 2nd night. $25 a night. We have 3 dogs and had plenty of walking trails for them. We would definitely stay here again.

A plesent RV camp but not tents allowed

Noesho's Hickory Creek RV park is a nice park with mowed grass everywhere, gravel roads and grass sites. The site are only $12 per night. But be warned....No tent camping is allowed and you need to go to city hall to pay your camping fee as the campground does not have a place to self register, so if you plan on staying here you will need to get to city hall before they close for the day, and they are only open from Monday - Friday. Site use to allow tents, but does not now, most likely due to the fact that their are no restroom facilities at this campground. All the sites come with water and electric hook ups, and their is a RV dump. Train tracks adjoining the park and these are busy tracks with trains running day and night. Two sides of the park have a street and a highway alongside, but traffic is slow so it seems to be fairly quiet. The campground is part of a much larger city park. Part of the frisbee golf course runs around the camping area, and across the road is a nice bike path. Hickory creek runs along the edge of the park and has good fishing. Sites do not have picnic tables but their are a few in the park witch you can use. No campfires.

Nice price but bare bones.

This 10 spot campground has water and electric for $12 per night. Although it is a no frills campground it is across the street from a lengthy park with walking trails and a couple playgrounds as well as an active creek which advertises trout fishing on signs along the walking path. There is an extensive disc golf course within this park also.

There is an active train track nearby which produces some noise every once in a while, as does the main road between the camp area and the park. RV and hardside campers may not be bothered by the noise at all.

There is a dump station with fresh water for cleanout as you leave the campground as well as trash barrels throughout.

One drawback of this park is registration to stay here has to be done at city hall so if you are planning to arrive in town after city hall closes or on the weekend you may be unable to stay here as there is no drop box for site payment.

Overall this is a nice park for the low price.

Meh

Nothing to write home about but a good break from work nonetheless. Most of Neosho is pretty ho hum and boring. It was good to have an option for a little fresh air while I visited for a business trip.
