All the amenities you’d expect from a KOA
Small sites, but great amenities at the Moab KOA. Our site was mostly level, pull thru w/full hook ups. Some small trees and bushes between the sites help add a bit of privacy, but you’re pretty much on top of each other. Camp store, laundry and an awesome pool. Great bathrooms, private one person room with toilet, sink & shower. City of Moab as great, free public transportation. You can call a shuttle, through an app, and they will pick up up and take you where ever you want yo go!

Close to All The Action
Great stay at KOA Moab. Clean facilities and wonderful pool for a dip after a long day. Close to Arches and city center. Enjoyed our 3 nights immensely.
Great spot, close to everything
We stayed here for 4 nights and it was great. It’s right down 191 from downtown Moab (10 minutes), Arch’s NP (20 minutes) Canyonlands NP (45 minutes) and Dead Horse State park (1 hour). The views are great and the campground is clean. The only thing that you need to know before you show is that you need to either bring your fire pit or you can rent one. The rv and tent sites don’t have a fire pits, only the cabin sites.

Great Cabins
The cabins are nice and clean! Comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms and showers! The staff was helpful and even told me about a secret swimming hole!
Best pool in Moab!
The pool is great, laundry room is accessible from the pool area...so I did some laundry while hanging out near the pool. Bathrooms are decent. The views of the canyons and cliffs around the campground are amazing! The view of the La Sal mountains is also great from the campground. Labor day weekend is one of the busiest weekends for Moab so book lodging and activities well in advance.
Very nice campsites
Very nice campground
Perfect
Real nice campsites
Nice Campground
Nice Campground for exploring Moab and surrounding area. Clean, full hook up sites, and close to town. The pool area was awesome for cooling off after summer hikes.

Nice place, great stay
Easy check in, close enough to all the parks, and good eats downtown
Labor Day weekend in Moab
Very nice large campground, clean bathrooms, outdoor laundry, group fire pit with plenty of seating. Nice pool with large hot tub, dog friendly. Just over all nice place to stay. Would recommend and for sure stay here again
Excellent camp
This KOA was a great choice for our stay in Moab. All the amenities you need. Great staff. Awesome spot.
Great location for the Moab area attractions!!
What a location to call “home” while visiting Moab. Very friendly staff and service and the facilities are clean and neat. They have an awesome pool and laundry facilities (2). Since the location of Moab is in the desert expect some dusty and dirty conditions but tolerable sine everyone is doing some adventure outside.

Close to town
Nothing special but convenient, clean and safe. Small dog runs, medium sized pool. 7min from downtown.
First time at KOA
This was the first time we ever booked/stayed at a KOA campground and it will not be the last. This campground had it all except onsite dining but was close enough to many great restaurants and downtown Moab.
Decent KOA Park but Price Sets the Bar High
Views are scenic if not for the construction taking place in a housing development right next door and in sight. Sites are extremely tightly packed in with no privacy or space. All of this would be fine and a bit expected given Moab’s popularity but adding on top of this a heavy duty, high end price tag makes it feel steep and somewhere less than a good deal.
Great Except for Road Noise
This is a very large and fortunately, a very well run KOA in a great location except that noise from Hwy 191 is consistently LOUD. The views are wonderful although the sight lines are often impacted by both other large RV’s and nearby housing.
The night sky is great but stargazers should plan to stay up until 10:00-11;00 pm as headlights from arriving rigs will destroy your night vision.
WiFi is spotty for sites at the edges of the property... I had to use my phone’s hotspot to get decent internet.
Bottom line: This is great place to park your rig and explore or otherwise enjoy the Moab area which is stunning. I would not recommend it as a camping destination in and of itself.
Nice place very clean.
The place has a lot of nice features and places to hang out. Staff was friendly and the store was well stocked.
Great holiday KOA!
This was one of the best KOAs I've been to. Staff was incredibly well prepared and friendly and the store was well stocked. We had a lovely stay with our dogs, couldn't have added Moab to the trip without places like this to have AC at. They have a pool and laundry as well.

Great view and amenities
Wonderful service, clean and well spaced. Multiple shower houses, great pool and small shop with snacks, souvenirs and camping/RV essentials. Saw bugs, lizards, bunnies and a quick rain storm that resulted in a double rainbow covering the campground from end to end 🤩
No shade
Fire pit, picnic table, office with a general store, bathroom and shower facilities.
Great location
Very nice KOA, great pool area, sites are well maintained, great landscaping, clean shower, friendly staff
Ranger Review: Moab KOA
Plenty of tent sites were available during our stay. There was not a lot of shade and the sites were very sandy. We loved having the pool and hot tub available to us after long days hiking/exploring the National Parks. The sunsets were gorgeous. The bummer was that they were working on the plumbing to the pools during our stay so we had to endure some loud construction noise. Convenient to town and the parks. Shower houses were clean. We’d stay there again if visiting the area.

Great Experiance
Excellent campground. Lots of amenities. Allowed you to rent a campfire since the spots only have a grill. Incredibly close to lots of wonderful hikes and downtown.
Favorite Campground
We visit every September for a week. Always something to do in Moab. The campground is always clean. The staff is very accommodating and so nice. Busy during the day but thats because there's so much to do. At night it's beautiful with the minimal lights and the starry sky. If you have a problem with winds, then don't tent camp there because it is a canyon and it does get windy. Will continue visiting this KOA every year. Never camping anywhere else in Moab.
Sunny days, windy nights.
Like most KOA's, the campground is basic but convenient. The campground is open with a few trees, but they do provide a wooden overhang for shade. It gets hot, so shade is welcomed. There was plenty of space for 2 tents. At night, there were terrible wind storms that filled our tent with blowing sand. (It came up and under the rain fly.) It was a convenient location for Canyonlands, but nothing was overly great about it.
Basic cabin
We had a tent but so happy we got the cabin. It was clean, comfortable and kept us out of the wind and rain. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
Moab
great camping sites pull over spots available but if you do want to camp near the river you do have to travel atleast 35 mins down towards the end and you do have to have a pass so make sure before you make that drive you get yourself a pass at the parks center located in the city of Moab
Get ready for the stars
Zero grass.

Awesome!!!
We pulled in and wondered why there was no lights anywhere, and the sky is so beautiful at night and they kept the lights to a minimal! The bathhouse is unisex, just lock the door! we used the laundromat and that was nice also!
Clean and Quiet
A few trees here and there. There are covers for shade this helps a lot. The bathrooms are clean. They have cabins that looked new as well. Close to both Canyonlands and Arches.
