We stayed at site 184 which was great. The trail to get down to the Gorge Trail was just a few sites away. Bath house was clean but out dated. No camp store, but fire wood & ice were available at check in station. Pick a site on the outside of a loop and you’ll be good.
Site 207 was very large and private. (206 looked good too). Bathrooms were cleaned daily, but could use some updating. Free showers, strong cell service (at&t). No camp store, but fire wood was available. Campground is very quiet most of the day most are off visiting the local attractions of Ohiopyle.
Short on amenities, big on views. Corona Arch trail head across the street. Vault toilets
Not really a camp ground, but we pulled in here late and spent the night. Nice bathrooms, free parking. Between Zion & Bryce
Awesome little campground surrounded by cliffs, overlooking the Colorado River. No reservations taken, so first come first served. No hook ups. But potable water & dump station close by. Each site has shade structure, table & fire ring. Very unlevel. Bathrooms were just OK. Million dollar views for $20/night! Walk down to the river for a cool dip.
The north rim may be less “grand” than the south rim, but it’s way quieter with less tourist. Our site (19), was pull thru, no hookups. Not very level & you may have trouble getting a bigger rig into this campground. Very nice camp store. Lots of trail heads w/in walking distance. Bath rooms were just OK. Books up fast of course, be ready 6 months(to the minute) to reserve a site.
Only 24 sites makes this one of the hardest campgrounds in Utah to book. If you’re lucky enough to get in then you are going to love Goblin Valley. All of the sites come equipped with a shade structure, picnic table & fire ring. Best sites are on the out side of the loop, with the cliffs right behind you. No hook ups, but the is potable water & dump station. Small visitor center/store offers a few essentials. Very hot & windy when we were there in June. Dark skies offer amazing star gazing. Clean bathrooms and free, private showers.
Small sites, but great amenities at the Moab KOA. Our site was mostly level, pull thru w/full hook ups. Some small trees and bushes between the sites help add a bit of privacy, but you’re pretty much on top of each other. Camp store, laundry and an awesome pool. Great bathrooms, private one person room with toilet, sink & shower. City of Moab as great, free public transportation. You can call a shuttle, through an app, and they will pick up up and take you where ever you want yo go!

Quiet campground with lots of tall evergreen trees. Beautiful. Be ready to reserve 6 months ahead (to the minute!) Will sell out in an hour
What can I say, Watchman is THE place to camp when visiting Zion NP. Beautiful views, clean bathrooms, short walk to the visitor center. Watchman Trail trailhead just a short walk from campground. Be ready to reserve 6 months ahead of arrival, (to the minute!). Will sell out in an hour.
Beautiful lake on the Ohio/PA border. Similar to most Ohio state parks. Clean bathrooms/showers. Don’t forget to feed the carp!
Typical Ohio state park. Smallish sites, not much privacy, not a lot of amenities.
This is THE place to camp if you plan to visit Mammoth Cave NP. Sites are well spread out & most back up to forest. Very close to Mammoth Cave visitor center/trail head. (5 min bike ride). Bathrooms/showers were clean and updated.
Pros= Beautiful, wooded campground. Sites are big enough for a bit of privacy. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Cons= primitive sites only(no hook-ups). No real camp store, fire wood was available at check-in desk

Sites were smallish but flat. Bathrooms/showers were clean. Camp store had firewood but not much else. Put- in-bay was a short bike ride away. If you don’t like drunk frat boys, visit during the week.
