Wonderful getaway close to the Springs

What a wonderful campground, so clean and close to town. The campground was surrounded by walking trails and even a frisbee golf course. Sites had full hookups and complete with a table, large fire ring, and tent site as well. Facilities for showering and bathrooms were close and extremely clean! Camp host also had bundles of wood available. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Amazing sunrise views

Unbelievable sunrise views from campsites 1-10. Mid March bathrooms were open & water running. Good passive design, so they were even a bit warmer than outside. Arrived after 10pm & all gates were unlocked, easy to get in.

Great RV spots with a view

Spacious spots with full hookups. There’s a park entrance fee in addition to the spot rental. Park entrance fee is available to purchase via an automated kiosk.

Directions

I-25 exit #135, South Academy, head west on South Academy past Pikes Peak Community College, continue west to Highway 115, turn left (south) on Highway 115. Turn right at the first stop light, JL Ranch Heights Road (also the light for Fort Carson Gate 1), the park entrance is to the west. Go west and follow the road into the park. Look for state highway signs directing you to Cheyenne Mountain State Park.
