Swift Puma Heights Campground — Cheyenne Mountain

A great Colorado State Park. Concrete sites with tent areas. Campsites are spaced out really well. Full hookups at each site that look better than most dump stations. Wildlife in area: saw deers, wild turkeys, and signs for bears and cats. Recommend having bear spray if you hike the trails.

Over all good site . No shade and slight grade when backing in . Our stay was march 24th . Super windy we thought the camper was going to blow over both nights we stayed .

This spot was very very nice. It sits on the side of the mountain overlooking what seems to be the rest of the world. We're in the ADA site near the bathrooms and camper services which were also very clean. They maintain this place to a high level. There were several hiking paths that were dog friendly where we saw deer enjoying the lush greenery.

If you are in the area, try to snag a week or two as this area fills up fast.
