New to tent camping but loving it

Tent sites have amazing privacy

These sites were pretty large and very private. There was plenty of space in the surrounding trees to explore a little. Each site was very unique in its space and set up, which is really cool.

Clean vault/pit toilets were available with toilet paper provided, but you need your own sanitizer.

The proximity to an amazing trail to the Falls is of course an obvious bonus.

Group camp sites are available (although not during COVID)

Would stay again in a heartbeat!

We stayed in Sept 2020

We were in site 31. This was a good site. It was more private than some (like 29 which was right off the path), but it was connected to a hiking trail so the random person would stroll by on the rare occasion. This site offers no shade, and no trees for a hammock (site 29 had some trees for a hammock). The provided bear box was a bit smaller than expected based on a previous trip to another Colorado State park. My VERY ROUGH estimate is that the box was about 3ft wide by 4ft deep.

Parking was okay, with an option of stairs to get to the campsites, or a small gravel path leading down to the sites.

The restrooms were amazing; they are in a small building, meaning the doors dont directly lead to the outside which means they were very clean. They weren't just pit toilets, there were two or three stalls with running flush toilets with sinks with running water and soap provided.
