Best campground in the Great Smoky Mountains NP

We camped in our multi-purpose enclosed trailer. We stayed in the ‘C-section’ which is generator free, so a bit quieter than the B-loop. We camped 3 nights and saw coyotes and deer in/around the campsite every day. The last day, Sunday morning, as we were packing up to leave, a mother bear and her…

Very nice campground

I would give it 5 stars if it had sewer connection on site. We stayed here 4 nights, and we loved it. The campground is not crowded, there is plenty of space between sites. Most of the sites back into a view of the water. Showers were clean and bathrooms as well. We will probably be coming back…

Spring Camping

We stayed here in May while enroute to Memphis. We pulled a small trailer through the campgrounds and stayed at site A3. Site A3 is a pull thru site, that's labeled at the exit of the site, but you have to drive thru the entire campground to enter and there's no label at the entrance of the site;…

Nice tent camping area

Tent-camped midweek on E210. Lots of open spaces in camp. Tent spot was on level gravel RV pad. Air mattress helped with gravel. Site had water and electricity. Showers were clean with hot water. Be sure to lock up food. We were visited by five raccoons nightly. They were able to get into secured…

Beautiful park

We went during the Folk Festival. The campground was full. We enjoyed our stay. The campsite we stayed at says moderate. If you stay on the paved part, it would be hard to level. But, it had a gravel area you could back into and it wasn’t so bad. Only complaint was our fire pit ended up…

Nice and quiet

Beautiful setting some sites are easier to level than others. Our 36 foot 5th wheel needed to be at the front of the pull through to level , site drops down at rear. We enjoyed the wonderful local veggies and baked goods.

Waterfront Tranquility

Our stay at Chester Frost was amazing. We stayed on site 172. We could not be happier with our choice. The campsite was very spacious, quiet and one of the best views! The sites that are waterfront are spread out really well. This is the most quiet campground we have ever stayed at, at one point we…

Peachtree Cove RV Park

This is a beautiful, well maintained park with a very friendly and helpful staff (family operated). The sights are level and well spaced, and the creek is charming. The only drawback we’ve found is the traffic noise, but this is a narrow valley in the Great Smokies so it can’t be helped. Wonderful!

Way to hyped up

We arrived and didn't really understand the hype, we're on our honeymoon and have been traveling/camping for 2 weeks now. This was not what I had expected. I was thinking this would be an incredible experience but it seemed really boring. Now we did come in the off season I'm assuming but our other…

Very clean, nice staff

Love the camp ground, easy access for a big rig, I have a 40ft fifth wheel. Water and electric on each site, dump station available. Boat ramp on site, store. So far I’m liking the camp ground.

Clean, Quiet, Friendly

Friendly Staff, Clean Bathrooms, Convenient Location. No honeywagon for water and electric only sites, but dump station in campground. Some very nice private sites and none of the sites except maybe a few look very small or tight- pretty spread out. Lots of tent sites. You definitely hear the…

Tons To Do

We stayed Memorial Weekend of 2021 for a total of 4 nights. Tons to do at one of Tennessee’s top state parks. We hiked Fall Creek Falls trail, visited the nature center, walked the suspension bridge, went to the Cane Creek Falls overlook, swam in the Cascades, ate pizza at the snack bar, watched…

Small but clean and quiet

Very peaceful, great young owners. Spent Labor Day weekend here and it was quiet. We had our dogs and so did others. The bathhouse was small and rustic but clean and nice. Only a few full hookups, more partial, and a number of primitive tent sites. The gem mine and trout pond are closed but there…
