This park is awesome, owners treat you like family. Very clean, nice little store, playground great for kids, shade trees. We stayed in June when heading West. Now in July heading home. If you're looking for a great RV PARK highly recommend!!!
We were only staying for a night, but we found this campground just fine.
Plus: amazing hot water and water pressure in the showers. Amazing wifi (best we’ve had available this trip). Most sites had a wooden covered area for the picnic table, which would be very helpful if it rained.
Con: site wasn’t completely level, showers and bathrooms had curtains only, not doors.
There were lots of garbage bins. Other reviews mentioned the tired mobile homes near the entrance. They are separated from the RV park by a chain link fence. The RV side is clean and maintained.
We were just there for the night, driving through. We found friendly staff, very clean bathrooms, and a good location, close off I 90, and east walk to a corner store. Would stay here again.
And, as our dogs woke us early, and the sunrise really was lovely.
From back-ins to Pull through 110-30-50 amp full hook-ups you will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere with trees or if you need a sky view there is that too. Guest service is above and beyond. Shower/bathrooms and laundry room all very clean. Stop in have a cup of coffee and visit with the owner or the host. Have a bag of popcorn as well as ice cream sodas tea
Great sites with room to breathe. Beautiful treed area. Staff is awesome. Clean bathrooms.
Easy access off I-90 and quick check in. We proceeded to pull through site 5 with FHUs. The campground (CG) owners could not have been nicer. As we were traveling with another couple, they gave our friends site 4, which pulled in the opposite way so our doors faced each other across a nice sized yard area. The yard area was large enough that if you didn’t know the people across from you, you’re still far enough away to not be camping with your neighbors. There was no cable but we got a good OTA channel variety. We received 4 bars on Verizon. The CG WiFi was above average. Great water pressure. There’s a gas station at the CG entrance with a good diesel price, so that was handy. Nice place for an overnighter or a few days.
We luckily found this place in Presho, SD. The host was a friendly lady named Gwen and the campground was neat and clean. It was an easy stop off I-90. Every site is a gravel pull through with full hookups and trash containers are close to every sight. They also offer free popcorn and coffee. I saw a nice swing set, slide, and basketball goal. Also they have cabins, a restroom, and tent area. Good Sam discount… around $46 for 2 adults and 2 dachshunds. Would stay here again.
Nice, clean, well maintained private park. My downsides, sites very close together and pricey at $50/night for a one-night stop. Much prefer state/national parks.
Friendly staff came to greet us late. SUPER clean, bathrooms were spotless Also Affordable- & convenient Obviously they really care about their property- Very tidy, cute, quiet - The birdsong was so lovely!
We enjoyed our stay at Big Pines June 2020. There were very attentive and helpful. I also liked the delivery service they offer, so as we packed our lunch for the day, they brought us ice. I also had lots of questions as a first time camper puller and they were helpful, gave us an easy back in site and made it work for our little family group.
Stayed here one night on the way to My Rushmore. Checkin super easy and she made a great dinner recommendation for the best burger in Custer. Campground was peaceful, set in the trees, and we saw hot air balloons over head in the morning with some friendly wild turkeys walking through. Overall, awesome with clean bathroom shower. Will stay again for sure.
We stopped here on our way across South Dakota, and it was the perfect place. It’s right off the interstate and is extremely well-managed and clean. They have lots of yard space to walk dogs along their property, and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful throughout our stay!
Nice place with very friendly and helpful staff. The camp was very full when we were there but oddly very quiet. The breeze blowing through the pine trees was very peaceful and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful, clean park. Decent sized lots. Bathrooms clean. Staff was super. I highly recommend this place.
This was a great campsite . Water and electric hookup . Clean bathrooms and showers . Super friendly hosts ...seriously helpful and service was amazing. Very close to Custer for stores and restaurants. Just a wonderful camp site . Nice trails to walk . One of my favorite finds!!!!
Quaint little park with clean rr's. They have a great field out back to walk the dog and staff was nice
We stopped for 1 note on the way west to Mt. Rushmore. It is a nice little park with a friendly staff that likes to show folks the garden. Ultra clean RR's and showers with nice tile and woodwork. Definitely a stop over as Presho is a 1 horse town!
