It's a popular route for tourists and recreational adventurists, with many small communities, waterfalls, hot springs, hiking trails along the way. West OR 126 freeway is 8 miles to 1-5. . We are located 1 1/2 hours from Mount Hood, Willamette Pass ski lodge and the Oregon coast. Park your RV or camper and enjoy exploring Eugene/Springfield Area, the great outdoors or visiting friends/family. We'll leave the power, water and sewer hook up on for you.

The Silver Spur is a 196 site RV Resort located just on the outskirts of historic Silverton, OR. We offer 50 amp, 30 amp and 20 amp electric service, water & sewer connections, and cable TV at every site in the park. Wave Wireless internet is also available for each guest. Our main lodge has a small store for most RV needs and is also equiped with a beautiful game room that has a full sized slate pool table, air hockey, foosball , big screen tv's and video games! A stocked, catch and release fishing pond is located in the center of the property for all guests to enjoy. Our brand new Pool and Jacuzzi are open 7 days a week for you to soak in and are located right next to the area of our newest edition of 5 TiPi camp sites! I ended up here last minute due to weather on the Oregon coast. I’m in a 40’ coach. It’s a very well kept RV park, a lot of long term residents were here. The office is very nice, the lawns are very nice, the office parking lot is asphalt. Has a nice little children’s play area. There are very bumpy gravel driveways to the RV parking spots (possibly just the time of year causing the poor road condition). The RV spaces are very easy to get into being angled. We stayed in a pull through space, easy in and easy out. Only giving a 4star rating for the very small RV spaces. Was very crammed for anything more than a last minute stay.
TravelerDefinitely more of a trailer park with long term residents than a short term RV Park. People are friendly and cost is low. But there are no sewer hook ups for short term guests and they do not have a dump station.

This is an RV park. Full hook up $47. Great water pressure for shower. Laundry $1.75 wash, $.25 dry 13 minutes. Clean. Not a lot of space per lot. Mostly people live here. Lady checking in is wonderful!

Just steps away from Foster Lake. Edgewater is super clean, tidy, and has nice RV spots. Located just outside the cute little town of Sweet Home. Close to some great hikes, including McDowell Falls.

Mallard Creek Golf and RV Resort is located about 3 miles from Waterloo (or 8 miles from Lebanon, Oregon and 11 miles from Sweet Home, Oregon). It is off the beat and design for those serious golfers. The RV resort is design for trailers of any size with 30 to 50 amps electric, also includes, water, sewage hook ups, cable, and a cement table. The Club House has showers, bathrooms, and laundry facility. The club house has a wonderful party space with TV, gas fireplace (no fires at sites), tables for games and social gatherings. Free WIFI, your cel phone and data plans work wonderful in this area. Dogs are allowed, but no pet area to run loose. Kids are welcome but not gear up for things to do unless they love to golf too.
Mallard Creek is gear up for the serious golfers so the summer has special packages for the RV site with golfing from Memorial day weekend to the end of September. For non-golfers the RV resort is available between October 1 to the Thursday before Memorial day.

The front of the camp ground is long term if not permanent residents. Lots of clutter and miscellaneous items. Looks like stuff that just doesn't fit into their trailer and made its way to their covered area (near their trailers).
Everyone kept to themselves, not much chatting going on with nearby "campers". The level we were on, just above the level near the River wasn't terrible. I liked it because we were a little further from the strong flowing river with our 2 little boys. It is beautiful and sounds awesome, but just to play it safe with the young ones I would recommend the spots on the level right above the river front.
The spots near the water look really nice. You would be able to hear the River from your camp spot. These spots had fire pits. Our spot looked like it was there at one point, but wasn't there any longer.
Very limited cell signal here.
Camp ground said their wifi was down, she mentioned it would be back up the next day, but it never was during or stay. That would have made it a little better to have connection to the world (as I am working on the road).
Our spot was unique, the power and water were on the same side, if you back in they would be on the passenger side and the sewer didnt have a good connection so I located a nearby stump to weigh it down. That was on the drivers side (again if you back into the space).
They offer a cable box at check in, which we didnt use that came with a coax cable and HDMI. (again, wifi would have solved this instead of taking these items that look like they are in a reusable bag).
Overall, the views are awesome, being that close to the water is awesome and I didnt feel unsafe, just a little unique of a spot. They did offer good sam and the lady was very nice to call and check on our good sam membership number.
The common room (they call the friendship room) that looks like a living room appeared closed for now (covid) and the laundry was open, but we did not use. The bathrooms were closed (covid).
RangerGreat sized campground within the Lebanon city limits. Directly on the river with hiking/biking paths. 20 full hookup sites with locked safe restrooms/coin showers. Camp host greets upon arrival and provides area maps and complimentary tokens for showers. This is one of our favorite RV parks.

We camped in Mid June and were 1 of 3 sites occupied. The campground was extremely clean and quiet. The park host and ranger were helpful and made sure they were available for any questions or needs we had. We stayed on loop A and some of the sites are close together. Be prepared to bring in enough water and the sites have no electricity. For trailer camping I would recommend loop A as it is newest and has 4 drive through spots. Overall, would definitely come back. It was a quick drive to the boat ramp which to the left has access to a small rocky beach area my kids loved exploring.

Registration was quick and easy. Plenty of parking. An amazing gift shop and small store. The bathrooms were SPOTLESS and keyless/ code entry, and it was almost like they were our private bathrooms.
We had a darling porch with bbq and picnic table, Keurig coffee maker, 2 bedrooms, dining table and living room too! Cable tv as well.

We were lucky enough to get site number 1 which has a hot spring by it and it is river front (McKenzie River 🤩). They have rooms available, riverfront sites as well as another big area with cabins and for RVs. There is a tent area, we didn’t go there but we saw a bunch of people pulling a cart with their stuff to the tent area which is on the other side of the river. The property has the carts and you can just borrow. We did not have full hook up, only water and electric and that’s what we needed for one night. I am not sure they have full hook ups at the upper RV area. We loved staying there, you are literally in the forest, you can enjoy a nice walk around the park, they have a few trails or just sit by the river and relax. The lodge has two hits springs in the form of pools - we did not get in it because it was a bit crowded and we were there at the end of June, when Covid-19 was still around. The one by the reception and the River is bigger and the one is a bit smaller and gets crowded fast. They were requiring appointments for the second one in order to control the number of people in it and it looked like 25 was still too many people for such a small area. They are dog friendly and they offer breakage for lodge guests. We saw a food truck parked outside of the lodge but it was not open, unfortunately. It would have been cool to get food there. Bring food, water and anything else you need because there are no grocery stores around and they don’t have many options at their store at the lodge. We saw a few people fishing across de river from us! The property is very well taken care of. Beautiful flowers, plants, trees and lawn. There are a ton of hikes in the area. Proxy falls is not too far from this place and worth the trip. Great to go alone, as a couple or family.

we had the opportunity recently to stay two nights at Hoover campground on lake Detroit, it’s a primitive CG with flush toilets, no soap in restrooms and lacking showers. The CG was occupied by some unruly teans with dogs they could not control. They also did not respect quiet times and made for sleepless nights. The north Santium river enters the lake here and one of the highlights was watching the Ospreys fish. This site does not have RV hookups, come prepared to do some “dirt camping”.

We used to love this place and came here yearly, as the facilities are nice and it's close to family. With recent management, staff, and policy changes, our motorhome is no longer allowed and about 1/4 of the park is for those passing through while the remainder are long-term slots. While visiting the other party in our group, they also kicked out our service dog from the pool deck and rudely told us to “read the rules.” We are well aware of public laws regarding service animals, but this staff member didn’t have any. It continues to be a nice park, but heaven help you if there is a toe out of line.
RangerThis is a nice, small, well maintained RV park near town. Foster Lake is just across the road and is beautiful with a decent trail along the lake. The road can get very noisy as it’s popular with motorcycles.

Back in lots are shaded and not stacked closely together. Wifi shows but no wifi. We used Verizon puck and worked fine. Grounds are kept up nicely. Appears there are long term camping sites, unlike many places we’ve traveled, they are well maintained and clean!! Only small drawback is the hwy traffic if in lots 45-70. This was mainly in the evening when sitting outside but a no issue inside. Overall nice place!!
LegendWe wanted to stay here because we had an appointment in Eugene, but balked at the $10 online reservation fee, so decided to just show up and get a spot, because usually that works out just fine for us. Well, by the time we arrived, the campground was full (even though it was the middle of the week), and then I saw the little sign at the host's kiosk that a $10 fee will be added to your first night's stay. Bah.
Hosts were friendly and overall the campground looked very nice and well kept. There are showers and laundry here.
It's close to Eugene, so it's convenient if you have business in town.
The RV / hookup spots out on the main loop looked more open and trim, but the tent / no hookup area in the back was more lush with trees and shade and greenery.

This is a large campground, mostly populated by big rigs, and mostly long term stays. Looked like a lot of people were working in the area. Almost all of the RV's there are very nice - no long term stay hoarder scenes. The roads are paved, majority of sites are pull through, photos on Dyrt are accurate. We had a 30 amp site and all of the utilities were well maintained and arranged well. Water pressure was good. Everything is well maintained. The women in the office were friendly, efficient, and helpful. It is a very dog friendly park and there is lots of room for dogs but everyone picked up after dogs and we heard almost zero barking. There were a few kids there but they were quiet except for a little play time in the afternoons. Downsides: a couple of the machines in the laundry were out of service (but the others worked well); there is a lot of road noise from I-5; cellular reception is sketchy. The road noise varies a lot though so ask for a site close to the office or in the older section. The new sites farther back are closer to the interstate. The road noise was much less annoying than we anticipated and we slept well. There is a TA truck stop nearby for filling up as well as a diner and a McDonalds. Of course, driving into Eugene to eat is easy enough. We had just 1 bar of Verizon and it was unusable but we had 3 bars of ATT which worked well. The do have a dog wash station toward the back of the park and also a car wash station that is easily accessible on the main road. We stayed for 3 nights while taking care of some things in Eugene and it worked out well for us. If only this place was farther off the road it would really be great.
GuideThis is our second time staying at Armitage. We usually only stay one night as we are passing through Eugene, but it's a fantastic campground and we would love to stay longer sometime. Site 30 was especially lovely. It is a full hook-up site surrounded by shrubs and trees. There is ample space between sites and we could not even see the site on our right. The pads are paved and pretty level, plenty long and wide for our 32ft 5th wheel and truck. Hopefully next time, we can stay longer and actually explore the park.

We stayed here for 3 nights Mid June. We have a trailer so were happy to get a site with full hook ups. I think we got lucky with a cancellation because the campsite was booked solid but one full hook up site close to lake was available about 2 weeks before our trip. You could hear the highway a bit but was minor. I think most spots here are pretty great! All shaded and decent amount of room. Lake is a 5 minute walk from anywhere.
Campground very clean and Hosts were great. Wood and ice available on site. Small store on site as well but we never went in - think it is mostly souvenir stuff for sale.
Our site was closest to river with a giant picnic area in front of spot. I believe its for the public but since in front of campsites no one ever used them but us. Great for the dogs to run and play and easy morning potty access. They even provide dog poop bags!
Lake was a joy to SUP on - Can get a little choppy with motor boats but fun to SUP to island and jump off midway for a dip! We even went out on full moon SUP cruise. Amazing.
The area was decimated by fire in 2020. Campground untouched. We did drive in to the town of Detroit to stock up on a few things and it was hit pretty hard. Good to bring some business back to the folks that live here and are working hard to rebuild.
