You will also find a lake and a field with bison. The pool is tiny. There is also miniture golf available," according to Suzy M.

There are a lot of little trails that criss cross each other and a lot of informational signs and a little museum," says Lynn G. about Big Bone Lick.

Lake activities: East Fork State Park Campground provides water-based recreation options. "This Park Has a Little for Everyone... There was several miles of bike trails, bridle trails and hiking trails. There is also a beach and marina for campers away from the main beach and marina for those just visiting the park for the day," writes Andrea F.
Urban access with natural settings: Campers appreciate the balance of seclusion and convenience. "Very nice campground inside the urban loop in Cincinnati. Close to everything, yet quiet and secluded camping experience," Kenneth D. says about Winton Woods Campground.
River watching: Tucker's Landing offers waterway views. "Site 22 had a beautiful view of the ohio river. The kids enjoyed seeing the barges going up and down the river. It was very quiet and peaceful," reports Lindsey S.
Well-maintained facilities: Campers frequently mention clean amenities. "Camp sites are all blacktop, level, and clean. Nice bath houses, and playgrounds," notes Jarrod M. about East Fork State Park Campground.

Site size variations: Some campgrounds have limited space. "Miami Whitewater Forest has very small sites but it is close to the city so that makes it nice," Kimberly A. points out.
Weekend busyness: Hamilton County Miami Whitewater Forest Campground and other parks get crowded. "Aging County Park... Not many level sites but with a little attention could be much better," notes Kenneth M.
Seasonal operations: While some parks operate year-round, certain amenities close early fall. At East Fork State Park Campground, "Rentals are available but most are only in season (ended September 30)," according to Lee D.
