What you should know
Reservation timing: West Branch State Park requires advance planning due to high demand. "Make reservations! (6 months in advance). Waterside sites fill up quickly!" advises Alisa G. The park's premium locations book completely during summer weekends.
Site variability: American Wilderness Campground offers diverse cabin locations with varying amenities. "We stayed in the primitive area and it was just ok. The campground's seasonal sites with lake views provide better access to facilities.
Transportation requirements: Kelleys Island State Park Campground requires ferry transportation for both visitors and vehicles. "You have to take a ferry to the camp ground.
