Jellystone Park Lazy River

Great first tent camping experience for kids. Lots of activities, clean restrooms. One thing to keep in mind is the tent sites on the opposite side of the road from the river has no shade. Site gets pretty hot on a sunny day. Sites by the river have some shade.

Love it here but renting a golf cart is prob not the best option $175 for 2 days and it only goes 5mph I can walk faster than that.

This is a HUGE Jellystone park in upstate NY. There are literally hundreds of cabins and RV sites. We are in site 136, which is a back in spot. Plenty of room between campers. Gravel spot which is pretty level. Full hookups. Picnic table, cable, fire ring, large camp store, showers, toilets, and full laundry area. Also has playgrounds, pillow jump, fishing pond, golf carts, game room, Waterpark, pool, and tennis courts. All of this nestled into the mountains. Nice and family friendly.

This place is so much fun. My whole family loved the activities, awesome pools and water area and many other great things.

We had a fantastic time in Gardiner, NY which was before this trip. Unfortunately, this was not good. We thought we had a good deal with our lot, but they had us right on a main road. The locals drove so fast on it that we felt uncomfortable at all times with our kids. The water park is not as nice as Gardiner's and there is a lot less to do. While driving through it I did notice some nice sites though that looked very quiet, but unfortunately ours was not nice.

Our 2nd ever camping trip with our RV and it really was amazing. Our first trip to another campground was disastrous due to hurricanes and leaks, and this trip made everything so much better. So much to do and the campsites are fantastic. Would go again.

This is my favorite of 3 Jellystones that I’ve been to. Will be returning in our new RV soon. When we stayed here, we stayed in a cabin on the hill and rented a golf cart which was a must have with three little kids. If we had stayed closer to the action, we wouldn’t have needed the cart but we were so thankful we had it after a long day of play. Facilities were clean and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is expensive but priceless in that our kids had more fun here than on almost any other vacation. There is plenty to do and see. I only wish the characters would walk around more often. We love that they sell concessions and beer on tap. It was a most enjoyable time. Campsites are not dispersed. Will return soon!

This is a very nice campground for families. Has a lot of activities and facilities for campers. It is a bit more open and campsite can be a bit close to each other. But the place was very clean a friendly.

We threatened a Jellystone stop for years, and finally made it happen. Great place for kids and staff runs a great park. Its crowded, loud and in constant movement but as expected. Sites here are pretty spread out and it’s big rig friendly with some level concrete pads which is a huge bonus. Park is doing a great job with COVID in the common areas. Not our normal type spot but definitely worth it to break up our 2 month road trip. Safe travels all!

Great for kids and families.

The camp is set up in a “blank slate, parking lot” type style, with a big field, center for tent camping or to be used for sports or other activities. There’s a “lazy river” at one side and a small RV village on the other, and tent sites with water or dry tent camping. Restrooms are available with hot and cold running water, showers and toilets.

On the expensive side but great activities for the kids. Nice pools, water park and clean campgrounds.

This park is really nice for family fun! Absolutely beautiful waterpark for the kids! Along with playgrounds, an outdoor theater area, plenty of places to ride your bikes. I prefer woods and water, but for people with school age children, this place is awesome. We were in site 258, which is a pull through. No shade at all, but the view of Mohawnk mountain was fantastic.

Nice. QUIET. Great pool with beverages for the adults.... Making this a yearly trip as well.

This campground has been revamped and is better than ever. With a new check in area, Gardiner has really stepped up. They expanded the pool area to include another pool plus splash area and water slides. Jumping pillow, Gaga pit, basketball ball and a few playgrounds are scattered around the park. Your kids will be tired and hungry.

They have a large campstore but there is a Hannaford’s around the corner. Tantillio’s Farm brings in fresh baked goods. Always check at the desk they have other trucks coming in to sell goods.

Ribbero’s Winery and Angry Orchard is near by for tours.

Always keep an eye out for falling parachutes, they are fun to watch.

They added new and bigger sites to their already expanding campground. Have the kids bring their bikes and get ready for memories. You can rent carts and hot tubs.

Nice pool that is shallow so you can relax and let the little ones go in the water park section alone or they have a 3 ft pool also. My older kids preferred a deeper pool but they still had a great time there they have lasertag which they enjoy. And a bounce pillow

This place is great for kids or diverse groups that all want to do different things. It's very family themed and fun for everyone. However, it can end up being as crowded as an amusement park depending on when you go.

This campground is great for kids. It has a event just about every weekend with kid activity

I went to a kid’s birthday party here, that gives you an idea of what kind of place it is. (I didn’t sleep here but saw all my friend’s camping facilities.) Personally, I wouldn’t want to stay here but if you know what you’re getting into it has a ton to do and is in a lovely setting. Some Jellystone campgrounds are pretty simple, this is not one of them. Easy to get to from NYC and NJ. It could be a good way to introduce young nature-phobic kids to “camping.” I gave 5 stars because it does a good job with its goal: clean, decently priced (before adding all the activity extras), safe, and there’s lots to do. If you’re looking for an actual nature experience, stay far FAR away.

Many different activities including a pool with s water slide! Hay ride and other activities (trivia night, bingo) that make this camp ground fun for the family.
