We are a full-time traveling family (2 kids - 8 & 13) and 2 English Bulldogs. We have a Class A motorhome and flat tow a Jeep. We stayed here in June for 11 nights in site B6 and loved it! Owners Matt & Jamie are wonderful and we left feeling like we had stayed at a friend's place. Our site…

Awesome camping spots right above the river. Big cliff jump!
Lily Bay is a well-maintained state park that sees a lot of traffic through the year, but has sites that can make you feel isolated. I love to go in the summer when Moosehead is at its warmest. If you're into adventuring, it's a short drive up to Kokadjo and the Golden Road, where you can look for…
I’d give 5 stars but only 4 since the sites are nice but not much privacy. Facilities are clean. The sites are a short walk/drive down to the lake and it is beautiful there. I would hear loons in the early mornings and go down to watch the sunrise. It was packed when I was there but overall quiet…

The good - If you can get a site on the water, the views are outstanding! The most scenic site we had on our trip to Maine. My husband had a Maine fishing license & fished from our site. They have clean showers & flush toilets by the office.
This campground is 20 miles from Gulf Hagas…

LILY BAY is amazing
State Park rates and a great jumping off point for day trips to Baxter / Katadin/ Kineo/ prong pond .etc etc
We love this park and my family has visited there since ot opened .
Yes , that many years
Even though we have access to family camp nearby . we still love tenting…
Loved this campground! Loved the staff! Great 1st KOA experience. Tons of stuff to do- great playground, tractor rides. Store was well stocked. Had an awesome time, met lots of awesome people!
Amazing clear water lake. 3 to 1 moose to human ratio, and abundant nearly tame birds and furry creatures. Haunting loon calls in the evening. Simple yet well maintained sites and facilities with responsive staff and relaxed, respectful neighbor campers. Sweet kayaking.

If you want to ride ATV trails, fish and swim in the Kennebec River, ride mountain bikes on the Kennebec rail trail this is a great place to stay. The down side is the truck traffic on the nearby roads. The campground is near an intersection so logging trucks slow and accelerate nearby starting…
Great sight right on a beautiful little river with friendly neighbors
This campground is a decent place for a home base while exploring the region.
Tented here 30 years ago and in a motor home this year. It's a nice place on the lake. Nice beach with little seating coves along the waters edge, offers a little privacy. There is a tiny marina, docks for small boats. There are a lot of seasonal campers. We stayed mid-week so we don't know how…
Great place to stay with ATV trails access right from your campsite. With the river right close by you can pan for gold.
Been here 3-4 times and have had an amazing time watch the kids. Great little fishing ponds, cabins and a Treehouse! Fun swimming pool and sooo many kid’s activities.
We really enjoyed this campground. It is a fantastic place to stay and ATV.
We will stay here again!
