Great place, could be slightly cleaner, but we are picky.

What a wonderful place. We we there for three nights following Labor Day. Campground was half full at best. The campsites were very tight, but there was nobody around us so we had plenty of privacy. All campsites are short walk to the beach and very pleasant. The best campsites are the ones farther…

White Mountain Dispersed

We arrived pretty late on June 22 and got one of the last available spots for the night. There were a number of decently spaced out sites. We drive an e150 and had no trouble getting to the site, and we saw some other vans, along with RVs and tents. Be careful of ticks! We woke up to one in our bed…

Coos Canyon

Campground is quite nice, near the canyon. Stayed in lower campground. Roads are very rough so difficult to drive on, at night the grounds are totally pitch dark and far from bathhouse. There is one outhouse available to use as well. Firewood is expensive at $8, and no it's not more wood than we've…

Wonderful Campground!

Papoose is a great campground. They have basically any time of site you could ever want, from tent only sites, to rentable cabins (multiple sizes) to cottages. I always stay at an HHK site - this has it's own personal bathroom with shower, and an outdoor stovetop and sink. It's great to have…

Wonderful experience!!

Incredible campsite, extremely child friendly, with all sort of comforts, brand new bathrooms -never seen such impeccable, decorated and luxury showers in a camping site before!-

Our children loved the place as much as we did and we definitely plan to visit again soon.

Grateful for an…

Cathedral Pines is claimed to be one of the most beautiful campgrounds by people all around the country. The space between the sites, mountain views, an campground in high demand. Very kid friendly. An abundance of outdoor activities right out your door. Highly recommend!!!!

Super Cute Campground

Enjoyed our stay here! We stayed for 2 nights and thought it was a good deal for a full hookup site! Very pleased with our stay here! We had 2 bars with AT&T as well. The campsites are very close to each other with little privacy but the value outweighs the cons of that.

Aesthetically pleasing campground-- good for tent campers

Desert of Maine campground is an excellent choice just 4-5 miles from the heart of Freeport at interstate exit # 22. This campground is well-imagined. Sites are close together, and some are small. There are 2 hike-in sites which are set apart. Wifi is provided throughout the campground and most…

Annual Stay

Last year we were looking for a place to take my daughter on a birthday trip, but had limited options. Mt Blue was one of few places that had sites available so it was by chance we ended up there. It was quiet, beautiful, and a memorable experience all around. Fast forward a year exactly, and we…

Nice Rustic campground, some sites a little close to the road.

I stayed here for three nights while working at the Mount Washington Climb to the Clouds and had a great time.  It was unfortunate that my site was close to the main road, but that was my fault and it didn't really change how my weekend was.  They have remote sites for camping, see video.

Very quiet campground with private sites

We took our camper and camped with another family who had just tents. Our camp sites were next to each other but also very private. No water or electricity except at the main bathrooms where there are showers, toilets and a dish wash station. Beautiful lake! We had to walk a few mins from our site…

Decent place, long-time staple, but that may be its downfall

First day, my wife was helping our 5 year old climb onto the float like the big kids. 5 minutes later, management came over and said, "I heard you were pulling my float in." No sense of customer relations, just rude. My wife clearly cannot move a float. Even if she could, shouldn't it be chained to…
