Reservations were available at this KOA along the Arkansas River in Cotopaxi, with sites accommodating RVs up to 60 feet and full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. The campground ran seasonally from April through October and allowed pets. AT&T users reported workable cell coverage and data on-site, which is worth noting given the remote stretch of highway this corridor runs through.

Tent sites sat close to the river, positioned along a cliff edge above the Arkansas. That proximity means campers hear the water clearly at night, though it also means the sites are tight. One reviewer noted a large cabin tent barely fit the site, with the vehicle parked just a foot from the main camp road used by RVs and large trucks. Families with young children flagged the layout as requiring constant supervision given the drop to the river on one side and active vehicle traffic on the other.
