How does it have 5 stars?!

This Campground has lots of potential. We expected a cleaner site for $40 a night. Really just a cleaner campground in general. Our site had lots of trash at it. Like Chewing Tobacco, old empanadas, cereal, etc. But it had some positives. Like the store, Lake and splash n dash. But it seems like…

Beautiful camping

Beautiful, large campsites. First come, first serve. Friendly campground hosts. Costs have gone up to $25 a night. The Vault toilets and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We stayed in site number 5 and we had friends/family staying in campsites 4 & 6 and it was perfect and large area…

It was our first time camping in Yosemite and we absolutely loved this campsite. Mirror Lake, and Mist Trail were near by. Restrooms are extremely clean great views all around.

Traveled from Las Vegas to this hidden gem. Great place for relaxation by the lake or taking a hike. Great place for dogs. Will be coming back since Yosemite national park is only an hour or so away.

Plent of Space and Shade

Right off of the Mammoth to June fire road. There were other campers, but mostly at the base of the hill.

AKA Curry Village

Nice, no frills canvas tenting in Yosemite. Best part is the location, which gives direct access to some of the most popular trails -- Happy Isles to Mist Trail, Mirror lake, etc. It has a nice family friendly vibe. Community/ Shared baths were acceptable, but be prepared to wait for showers during…

Camped at Ward Lake for several nights

Great small campground next to a small lake. Nice campsites, pit toilets. Overall pretty good, but we did come across several small rattle snakes.

This campground is fine. We stayed during covid and despite the reduced capacity it was crowded and mask wearing was not what we would have liked. Cabins are very close to each other so you are right on top of the next group. Not easy to sit outside and hang out.

Nice minimal site by creek

Nice little site by a creek. Vault toilets, no water. Last 5 mins of drive is dirt road and pretty twisty turny mountain roads. Wouldn’t want to drive after dark or with a real big rv, but my sedan made it just fine. Nice host and quiet at night.

Gateway to the eastern sierras

The location was amazing!!! I could walk to a few shops if I wanted. It was so close to some really amazing hikes! It was the best of both worlds being outdoors and having modern luxuries close by. The site itself was pretty great. Level, kind of dusty, plenty of space between campsites, bear box…

Very Busy but convenient

This camp spot was $25 a night. There were about 4 open spots on a Monday night when we rolled in. It was packed and there were people everywhere. For that reason I would go somewhere else in the future.

Lone Sequoia Trail head

We stayed the night and we’re pleased with the drive in. Truck handled it perfectly. No traffic to speak of back in there so no one to make lots of noise. We did have an issue with yellow jackets in the first spot and moved quickly to another empty spot which wasn’t bad. We left early and tried…
