Great camping pretty lake
Camp sites were a mix of flat of hill your choice we were in a tent and could park right next to the car. Came in late and wasn't a problem was still meet by the host swiftly only problems were the train was right next to us and so was the highway. There was also sticker seeds on the ground and they were so big they pikes through a quadrupled tarp under the tent and a sleeping bag under our air mattress and popped it but hey it happens.

Nice Place
Nice place, plenty of room. It was nice to have water and dump. We were there late Sept and still quite a few camping, but no problem finding a spot. Lots of mosquitoes, we chose to sit inside. Train whistle is distant enough to not be annoying, you can also hear I80 in the background.

Peaceful Prairie Campsites - Gering, Nebraska
Peaceful views
Simple, rustic campsite. Great views of the prairie and the bluffs near Scott's Bluff. The portapotty was clean. Did not use the "funky" shower. It looked perfectly fine and fun to try, but did not have heated water. The weather was turning cool. There was a nice flat area for the tent and an outlet to charge the electronics. Liked it.

“In Town” Campground
Located in Cheyenne neighborhood, good for stop over. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some on-site food , ice cream and small store. BBQ next door. Sites are close together , dirt and loose gravel. Our site needed leveling side to side. Sewer connection was too high for good drainage so we had to pull up close before leaving to dump. The drains look new but the pipe extends too high off the ground, should be cut down to ground level to work properly. Bathrooms very clean, Wi-Fi worked great without any interruptions. Easy to get around in Cheyenne area and close to restaurants and shopping. Close to i80 and i25.

Pawnee Buttes Trailhead Overlook
Great ridge spot overlooking the trailhead, as well as the buttes and surrounding area. Relatively easy to get in with a truck and a 15ft camper. Did use 4x4 high in the process, but less necessary if you have a pop up or are otherwise self contained.

Nice location near Cheyenne but just a big open field
Lots of level ground and there are teepees and Yurts and two porta potties and garbage Plus available potable water. However the bathroom situation is confusing because they offer inside hot showers but apparently when they have Airbnb guests it gets awkward. Very friendly dog named Brandon loves to say hello and get petted!

Wide open space
This is a nice quiet location. They have water to fill up containers but not your rig. I camped right after Cheyenne had a big event and the campground was full multiple days but everything was clean when arrived.
The owner and host both came and checked on me, made sure I knew where everything was and offered to help with anything I needed.
The shared kitchen has everything you need if you are worried about not having water or power hookups to cook.
If your well behaved dog needs a break from the leash, the camp dog is super sweet and your dog can take the opportunity to get the zoomies without a leash.
