Best RV Parks & Resorts near Point Roberts, WA

Point Roberts offers several RV-friendly campgrounds, including Sunny Point RV Resort where sites feature full hookups with 50-amp service. Nearby in Blaine, Beachside RV Park provides spacious pull-through sites with water, electric, and sewer connections, remaining open year-round. Birch Bay RV Campground (Thousand Trails) accommodates big rigs with 50-amp service, though site availability follows a first-come basis rather than specific site reservations. Most parks in the region offer gravel pads with varying degrees of levelness and spacing between sites. "Pretty sweet and welcoming... sites have picnic benches and fire pits. Fees were a bit high ($50 with hookups in the off season, $55 in the high season)."

Many RV parks in the Point Roberts area provide sanitary dump stations, though availability varies by location. The border crossing situation creates unique access considerations, as Point Roberts is an American exclave requiring travelers to cross through Canada. Winter camping options remain available at several parks, including Beachside RV Park and Bellingham RV Park, both maintaining year-round operations. Pet policies generally allow animals with standard restrictions. Cell service quality differs considerably across locations, with some parks offering Wi-Fi to compensate for spotty coverage. According to one visitor reviewing Sunny Point RV Resort, "The beach was a bit rocky but beautiful and offered tremendous views of the mountains." Road conditions within most parks feature gravel surfaces that may develop ruts and potholes during wet weather.

    La Conner Marina RV Resort

    Decent Level Sites

Nice location conveniently located near the Marina, close to everything.

Premium sites are double wide and have a spot to park your RV AND Vehicle. Discount for Good Sam Club members.

Premium Sites $55 before discount (back-in only) Pull-through Sites $55 before discount Regular Back-in Site $45

All sites have Full Hookups, Picnic table & a minor grassed Area.

We stayed in a Premium site, enjoyed the view of the Fields behind us. Extremely quiet, open, not dusty. Downside, people don’t pick up after their Pets. We have two Shelties & think of others so we’re not the Culprits…

Otherwise, pleasant overall. Laundry accepts cards only which is extremely convenient since coins are hard to come by.

5G t-Mobile is 5-stars at our Site, it’s not listed as an option yet.

Hidden Village RV Park & Campground

Great price, very nice manager lady.

I rented a long term space here for over 2 years while working in Washington. Price was by far the best around. It's a very good sized place with spaces to accommodate even the largest trailers. Even when full there's room to maneuver.Full hookups, wifi, bathrooms, shower, laundry room, swimming pool. Has seperate parking for boats, utility trailers etc. Lots of big trees around for a fair amount of shade. Is pet friendly. Manager lady is very nice. Has a separate non power section for tents or dry camping. It's not the fanciest but for the price is great.

    Washington Park Campground

    Anacortes Camping

Great medium size campground surrounded by saltwater, short trails, and grassy picnic areas. Great views of islands and sunsets. Boat launch with large paid parking area. Walking distance to Skyline Marina for a variety of ocean activities. We went on a whale tour and encountered atleast 10 Orcas. Campground can be muddy in some spots. Mostly reservations, 14 day in advance, but there a a few first come first serve sites. Some with water and electric. Motorhome, trailers and tents. Some spots looked like they could handle 40 foot rigs. A couple longer pull throughs. Very shelterd anthrough. Not much good for solar. Showers and restrooms.

    North Whidbey RV Park

Clean, well organized RV Park for big rigs

We called early afternoon and asked if they had a space for that night for a fifth wheel with total rig length 53ft. Nice grass around all the campsites, 50 Amp electricity, water and sewer. Picnic table at every site. Lovely location but it can be noisy due to proximity to road and navy jets. Overall a great place I will stay again.

    Deception Pass State Park Campground

    Cozy campsites !

There were SO MANY available campsites when we got there. About mid afternoon. The ranger was super friendly and welcoming! The bathrooms were nice and had showers that require tokens that you can buy with your site at check in. The sites vary in size and shape but most of them are decently private/ spaced apart. The site next to us never got booked, probably because it was small, but it was nice for us because it was only a few bushes away. Sites include a picnic table and fire ring with grill grate . There was a trail to the beach not far from us and it was super nice. Although there are plenty of signs that require dogs to be on leashes most people did not adhere to those rules, so keep an eye out if you're bringing the doggos. Very family friendly, very cozy, very nice stay!

    Thousand Trails La Conner

    Going downhill fast

This is the very first park I took my motorhome to.  After spending a year getting the rig ready, I was finally ready to take it on the road.  I had joined Thousand Trails earlier in the year and set off to see what I knew.  While I had previous RVs before (5th Wheel, Class C's, Travel trailers) this was my trip in a Class A.

My first visit to the Thousand Trails La Conner site was great.  I was able to find a nice full hook up site at the edge of the park very close to the water.

A couple more visits to the park in the following months gave a less than great experience but still good.

Last week turned a corner.  While the staff is still five star level, the park is showing a lot of wear and tear.  I counted more than a dozen closed sites.  Some of these sites had been closed for a long time.  Potholes and ruts in the road made travel unpleasant but the pools of water (and mud) really stood out.

Granted, I was there in February but these issues were not just seasonal.  Some of the same sites had been closed for the past few visits to the park.

I hope they start to pay attention to this park because its location is great.

    Sunny Point RV Resort

    Pretty sweet and welcoming

I have started to anticipate that these RV parks are for locals and regulars who begrudgingly tolerate the revenue from travelers. I didn’t feel that way at Sunny Point and it was actually a very welcoming spot for people passing through. Right off the bat they are clear about being able to accommodate either RVs or tents, so if you’re a tent dweller, don’t feel like you’re going to be in the middle of a sea of RVs — you’ll still be in the minority but there is a good variety of accommodation going on here. I loved their quirky orca decor, a testament to how frequently you can see these incredible animals passing by Point Roberts. Sites have picnic benches and fire pits and community oriented get togethers (distinct from the usual programming, these were very casual and a pleasant change of pace).

Dog friendly. Fees were a bit high ($50 with hookups in the off season, $55 in the high season, $35 with no hookups). Showers and public restrooms available for those who aren’t in RVs (and I guess those who are) at no additional cost. The beach was a bit rocky but beautiful and offered tremendous views of the mountains. I would have stayed longer if I could have.

    Deception Pass State Park Campground

    Nearly perfect

We have a car camping setup. This parking pad worked great for us, and offered lots of space behind the truck for our tarp shelter and dog run. The privacy is very good on 3of4 sides. The trail system starts right at the back of camp, but the access is a little vertical, so not easy if mobility limited! A short walk from the restrooms. This is a busy campground, so there is a little noise, especially on weekends, from people and dogs doing their thing. The bathrooms were very clean. The showers are token operated and the vending machines were out of service.
