    Conklin Landing RV Park

60 ft pull throughs, NO PROBLEM

Gorgeous 2 parks 1/2 mile apart. The Marina Park and this one. Gorgeous plush grass, immaculate kept parks. Pull throughs are nice for Big Rigs. Columbia River and launches, great staff, beautiful views, lots to see and do from wineries, fishing, biking, motorcycling, etc. 1 day lead to 5 days.

    Columbia Cove RV Park

    50/50

The camp host is fantastic but set your expectations. The swimming pool that is attached is not open on weekends. So that’s a bummer. The sites are narrow and you’re literally within a neighborhood, with views of the homes available at every site. Anglers have the advantage, with the boat launch right there. Benefits - 30 minutes from Chelan, fairly inexpensive $50 a night for full hookup) and the countryside is beautiful. This is not a suitable site for big rigs. We have a 22 foot and it was pretty tight.

    Lakeshore RV Park

Use a water filter, be ready for the sprinklers

Park like setting. Pull throughs are right on top of each other. Recommend back in. They water every night, you have to pull everything in, every night. Water came out brown each morning with out a filter.

Spring Canyon Campground — Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area

Great campground right on the lake

We came here to enjoy the lake.  The campground was right on the lake shore with a great sand beach!

They sites are pretty close together but were usable.  The site we had was a back-in site, the site is gravel and pretty level.  There are no hookups at this location.  First time boon docking, so we were not sure what to expect. This allowed us to test out our travel trailer and it passed.

We have Verizon and there were no issues with cell service for us.

The campground has a clean restroom, we used our trailer shower.

Pets are allowed and with how the lakeshore was, we were able to walk around a bend and get away from others allowing us to go off-leash so our dog could play in the water freely.

    Douglas Creek

    Hidden Suprise

Arrived around 2pm to the Douglas Creek Trailhead. The 8 miles of road H to get to Douglas Creek Rec area is gravel, primitive -no signs. Hiked the canyon for ~3miles. Lots of groundhogs and birds. Campsites are roughly half mile from the parking lot for hiking. The gravel road here is much narrower, and has more aggressive rocks/stones. Between the parking lot and campsites several large puddles/ponds took over the road. Campsites have pull throughs for RV’s. I chose the third site I saw, steep downhill to the fire pit, but close walk to the creek. The grounds are minimal, no services (no toilets, picnic tables, hookups, trash bins etc). Had no cell service. Weather was in the upper 60’s, no clouds. Perfect getaway.

    Coulee Playland Resort

    Good spot, close to road

This is a good spot if fishing, boating, or water sports. Pull through sites with full hookups or grass sites for tents and all in between. Close to grand Coulee dam and all the attractions and right on banks lake.

Porcupine Bay Campground — Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area

    Early May Camping

This camping spot is conveniently located off a well groomed gravel road just a mile or so from the main paved road. It’s the first campsite we came to as we drove into Lake Roosevelt. There were a couple other campers, but it wasn’t crowded at all. The only downfall is the sites are really close to one another. But the lake and beach are huge and there’s plenty of room for your dogs to play. There’s Fire pits and picnic tables for each designated camp site. Sometimes even a little firewood. We pulled our pop-up camper into site 7 which was perfect. Then we fished and enjoyed the evening under the stars.

    Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park

There is a difference between the state park and the resort

I have stayed at both. Both are excellent! The resort is clean, comfortable, shaded green grass, and the mechanical hook ups for RV’s are in good working order. Plenty of amenities to make your extended stay enjoyable.

The state park pads are decent. Fire ring and picnic table are provided at no extra cost. Most of the pads are very level. Grass is green, bathrooms clean, and the kids run wild. Close enough to the water to have easy access. There are RV spots in the back that are new. I haven’t stayed there yet, but I’ve driven through. It’s far enough from the main campground to be a lot more relaxed, and more suited for people that do not enjoy the kids running rampant.

Two things that neither place have any control over: wind and mosquitoes. The wind will blow hard at night. It doesn’t matter if it was dead calm when you went to sleep at 2am. Pick up and secure anything that will blow away or be damaged by high wind.

When check out time comes around, the day use area has lots of parking to finish the day in the water.

    Pier 4 RV Resort

    Simple, by the water

Moses Lake is an interesting little spot though I can’t say there’s anything that stands out to me particularly as “must see”. Recreation area right next-door offers the typical family-friendly water access, picnic tables, play structure and frisbee golf course
