    SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Several RV parks provide full-service accommodations near Fall City, Washington. Tall Chief Campground, located at 29290 SE 8th St in Fall City, offers year-round camping with sites that accommodate both tents and RVs in a wooded setting. Most sites provide 30-amp electric and water hookups without sewer connections. "We really enjoyed our stay here it was very quiet and peaceful sites were long and roomy with a fire ring and picnic table," noted one visitor, though they mentioned only a few 50-amp sites are available. Blue Sky RV Park in nearby Issaquah features paved, level sites with water, electric, and sewer hookups. Just north in Monroe, Thousand Trails Thunderbird accommodates big rigs with 50-amp service and sewer connections.

Road access to most parks requires careful navigation through rural roads. The region experiences significant seasonal demand, particularly during summer months when advance reservations become essential. Cell service varies considerably between parks, with Tall Chief campers reporting good coverage from major carriers despite the wooded environment. Dump stations are available at most locations, with Tall Chief offering an on-site dump facility for guests lacking sewer hookups. Based on reviews from The Dyrt, some visitors opt to use honey wagon services ($60 per visit) rather than moving their rigs to dump stations. Pet owners will find most parks accommodate animals, though specific restrictions may apply. Winter campers should note that while parks remain open year-round, fewer amenities may be available during off-season months.

      Manchester State Park Campground

Cute little state park but could use some updates at sites

Stayed here for 3 days at the start of March. Beautiful weather. We tow a 26ft travel trailer and reserved pull through site 3 which was nice and open and had lots of room for our trailer and tow vehicle. It needed a bit of leveling off on one side but nothing drastic. Walking the loop I'd say it was one of the best sites for a larger travel trailer that was also mostly level. The site is a bit of a walk to the restroom so if this matters to you, just know that. The park is on the smaller side but it makes great use of space. It was quiet and everyone kept their dogs leashed. Park host was very accessible and friendly. There is a dump station with potable water and our site also had water/electric (no sewer). Cell service worked great and we didn't have to use our starlink although our site was more open than others so I think it would've worked. If you have an EV there is a fast charging station at Fred Meyer about 17 minutes away.

      Crystal Mountain RV Parking

Great base-camp for winter and summer adventures at Crystal Mountain Resort

Stayed here for the first time in July 2021.  I understand this opened last winter.  Talking to the host, I found out it is far more popular in winter when ski season is open. It was quiet and sparsely filled in July on a Friday and Saturday night.

3 different areas respectively for large RV and 50 amps power, small RVs and 30 amp and tent only area. A fee picnic tables (no benches) available toward the tent only area.  Bathroom are just two sani-cans. Relatively clean.  There is trash and recycling behind the office which is adjacent to the host RV.

Free WI-Fi (the host will give you code) and good LTE connection on AT&T.

Silver Creek runs behind the lot and gives a  bit more of a natural feel. Otherwise you are in a giant parking lot (Lot B).

Can't beat the location for skiing and hiking or biking at Crystal Mountain!

      Cascades RV Resort

We are long term RV campers here at Cascades. It is a lovely RV resort with large concrete pads with astroturf lawn and picnic table. Everyone is friendly. Nightly noise is never excessive. Gracie’s place is an onsite cafe that serves food, alcohol, deserts, coffees, and other drinks. You can get package delivery just no USPS. They do offer monthly discounts. Would highly recommend for anyone in an RV.

      North Sound Recreational Vehicle Park

      Simple Urban RV Park

This is very much an RV park and not really a campground. Seems like a clean little park, but right in the middle of Lynnwood, so if you are looking for a rural setting this isn't for you.

They offer weekly and monthly rentals, so this is more of a long-term sort of place.

      Website: Northsound RV Park

      Requirements from their site:

      • Your travel trailer must be year 2005 or newer
      • Pet friendly(limit 2) not to exceed 25 lbs. Aggressive breed restrictions apply.
      • No conversion vehicles - sorry van and bus life people
      • No trailers larger than 35' long, ideally.

      Kayak Point County Park

Small woodsy campground with beach access

All campsites are surrounded by trees so choose carefully if you need a pull through or if you have a large rig that you’re trying to back up. We had a small camper van and it fit perfectly. Campsite is on a bluff above the beach, but you can’t see the sunset from the campground you would have to go down to the beach. Bathroom/shower is typical for a state or county campground - functional, but zero elegance. This one is a county campground and state or federal passes do not apply. Water and 30 amp electric at all sites except one tent site. Douglas squirrels are common and shy. Pets are welcome on leash.

      Blue Sky RV Park

      Awesome park

We reserved a space for 1 night the day before. Great communication with Brett, everything went really smooth. The facilities are great and very clean, the park very quiet. There are a lot of big rigs parked there, some of the pm long-term as it seems. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely visit again.

      Cedar Glen RV Park

great long-term or quick on the way

There are several long term campers here. The grounds are kept immaculate and they regularly update the sites.  They hang wreaths for the winter holidays. Lawns mowed weekly.

All are level gravel. All have grass area, some with patio pad. There is a dog walk area and they are currently creating a dog fenced area at the end orf the two rows.

A caretaker is on site and will often help guide rigs into the sites (all are back-in).

Close to Poulsbo (a cute, Norwegian heritage town), Seattle ferry via Bainbridge Island and just over an hour to the Olympic National Park via the Hood Canal Bridge.

Military Park Jim Creek Naval Radio Station Jim Creek Wilderness Recreation Area

      So much to do!

It had been 15 years at least since I'd been to Jim Creek. Since then, they've done some nice upgrades. The rv pads are double wide concrete pads about 50 feet long with full hook-ups. All sites include a fire pit, picnic table, and grill with ash bucket and grill cleaning brush. The rv park is close to the recreation office that has a little gift shop with snacks and drinks. This is also where you can rent equipment such as bikes, fishing poles, boats, etc. They also have a movie theater upstairs that operates on Saturday. This building has a 24 hour lounge with free wifi, TV, dvds, books, markers, coloring books, games, and other things for visitors to use. The wifi was only supposed to work inside the building, but I could pick it up in my campsite once or twice during our stay. Verizon cell service is very spotty. When I did pick it up, I only had one bar. There are several hiking trails and you can drive about 5 miles back to Twin Lakes to fish or just take a rented boat out or just enjoy the view. Jim Creek is a Naval Radio station and is for active duty military, retired, DoD, and reserves. There is a gate and you must show id to get in. Because of this and the base police roll through once or twice a day, I felt very safe compared to a state park or even a private campground. We camped Tuesday-Friday and even when it started filling up in Thursday, it was still super quiet at night. Quiet like not even bug sounds. That was wonderful.

      Private and quiet RV parking

      Loved this campground

Really nice campground that had everything we were looking for in an RV resort.  Nice paved and level sites that can accommodate any size RV. Some of the best features are the heated swimming pool, large clubhouse for gatherings with comfortable seating and a super large tv, free dryers in the laundry and a decent amount of space between sites.  All the roads and campsites are paved with grass in between.  The patios are paved but very small and not in a great location for our class A motorhome (better suited for towables with their doors farther back). The free public beach access is a short 5-minute drive away but beware this parking lot fills up quickly. Or, drive to Bishop Road where there are a few spaces but great access. Another alternative is to pay the entrance fee at nearby Topsail Hill Preserve State Park ($6/carload) and take the free shuttle.  The state park beach is usually less crowded than other public beaches (and you can take paddleboards on the shuttle or rent them/ kayaks/beach chairs/umbrellas at the state park). The campground does offer a free shuttle which is another great option. We found the utilities worked well. The campground and facilities are very clean and well-cared for.  Nice pool if you don't want to take the trouble to go to the beach (although they are amazing).  There are plenty of hiking opportunities at Point Washington State Forest and Topsail Hill and Grayton Beach State Parks. The biggest cons are that there are no shade and no picnic tables. The patios are paved but somewhat small and not always convenient to your front door.

    Guide to Fall City

Several private RV parks operate in the Fall City region, providing year-round accommodations for motorhome travelers. Tall Chief Campground features large, wooded sites with 30-amp electric and water hookups, though limited 50-amp service is available. "Most sites are pretty big too. We can easily fit our trailer, tow vehicle, and extra vehicle and still have space," noted one camper, though the park lacks sewer connections at individual sites. Blue Sky RV Park in nearby Issaquah offers full hookups with concrete pads and astroturf areas, while Issaquah Village RV Park provides 50-amp service and sewer connections. Big rig access is generally good throughout these facilities, with pull-through sites available at most locations.

King County's Tolt MacDonald Park provides public RV camping with drive-through sites featuring water and electric hookups (20, 30, and 50-amp service available). Cell reception varies significantly between parks due to heavy tree coverage, particularly at Tall Chief where signal strength can drop from 120 Mbps to 5 Mbps within a short distance. Many parks charge additional fees for honey wagon service, typically around $60 per visit, as a temporary alternative to sewer hookups. Pet-friendly policies are standard across most facilities, though some implement 10-year age restrictions on RVs. During summer months, occupancy rates climb significantly, with many prime 50-amp sites often claimed by seasonal or long-term residents. A dump station is available at nearby mini-storage near the Tolt MacDonald Park turnoff for a fee.
