Handicap accessible?

Not really accessible. Can’t get in main store/office. None of the cabins I saw would be accessible to a wheel chair. All roll in showers with no benches. Toilets do not have grab bars and are the low kind. RV slots are so close together if you put out your awning you’ll hit your neighbor. BUT the…

Decent car camping

Sites are not shaded at all and very close together. Sites on the water are highly trafficked by other campers. Water was unswimmable due to swimmer’s itch contamination. Host was very friendly and bathrooms were clean.

Group Site

Large and private, nice beach, good wind block. Will definitely be back.

Be Warned

We went on the 4th of July weekend. The campground was crowded with families but also groups of adults. The families were great but the adult groups not so much. There is no host to monitor people so there were folks running their generators all night and others were up partying until 2 in the…

Bowl & Pitcher

I spent one night here at the Bowl & Pitcher area. I was in the tent area with no hook-ups, but the lower area for RVs looks much nicer. It's very close to the day use area, so lots of people coming through on a Sunday. No privacy between sites, but a super nice park with lots of hiking, right…

Near Lake with Little Views

Stayed here Friday night and you really had to get here by 5 pm to get one of the few first come, first serve spots. Well maintained but expect crowds as most sites have 4+ people or lots of children. Expect to walk several hundred feet to the water. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table with…

Great Noat In Camping

Went out on a busy Saturday and while I was worried there would be no first come first serve, I found one at the second cove I looked at. Nice to have bathrooms, although you may want to bring extra to, and decent space between you and the next campsite. When choosing a site remember sunrise and…

Holiday camping

Happy to find campground mostly empty on holiday weekend. Only needed a place to stay overnight. Water spigots but no water. Campsites had no numbers. Quiet, green, remote.

Primitive & Overgrown

The "day use" area has no river access, overgrown trees & shrubs with no open area to play. Each site has space, privacy & bear enclosure for foods. Tons of bugs & mosquitos.

So sad 😞

This campground is now closed and owned by private resident. Very sad to see this place go. We have been coming here for 25 years.

granite creek

Very fun spot to camp. There is lots to do nearby fishing, riding atvs, swimming in the creek. There are bathrooms nearby and Idaho city is right down the road if you need anything. Yes the road noise is a annoying at times if your right by the highway but you get used to it.

Beautiful Lake views

Our favorite lake in N Idaho. The view of chimney rock is spectacular. Easy access to the sandy beach. Weather in June can be unpredictable, the Spring storms are epic. Camp hosts are almost invisible, but there if you have questions. Lots of children playing and riding bikes through the campground…

Nice but Cramped

As a Spokane local, I spend a lot of time in riverside with my family. We thought a night camping there would be a fun way to wrap up spring break. The bathhouse is dated but clean, the access to hiking and biking is fantastic, and there are nice sandy swimming holes just down at the river. The…

Clear water and sky

If you got a boat, get to Priest Lake. The waters are a little cold but crystal clear and on a clear night, you’ll see the bulk on the Milky Way.
