My wife and I and two friends spent 4 days recently in the campground. Although it rained on two days, we thoroughly enjoyed being in nature and taking advantage of what the campground offers. Darren, the camp host, was particularly helpful and friendly. We talked with him for about 30 minutes, and benefited from his hard work in keeping the campground clean and functional, his professionalism in dealing with not-so-compliant campers, and his friendliness in greeting fellow campers. His job appears to be difficult, with long hours, and probably low pay. But it is thanks to people like Darren that we are able to enjoy the beauties of the outdoors. Hopefully we can all do our part in keeping the campgrounds and parks clean, safe, and pristine.
