Stayed in the Basin CG area..spots are rather tight…some closer to your neighbor than I liked…Great bathroom facilities with hot running water & showers included with your camp fees…Very scenic…many trails to hike/bike or horseback..lots of other things to do outside the park also…more hiking & off road adventures await you…two slot canyons about 20 miles or so down the Cottonwood Road…Be advised summer T/storms & flash floods can make the graded BLM roads impassible even with high clearance 4x4's…Pavement ends at the Kodachrome Basin turnoff…bring your own firewood !
Right off the Hancock Road…near Coral Pink Dunes..you must expect ATV/UTV traffic inside the CG area…clean toilets…nice tables & fire rings…bring your own firewood…Traffic on 2 lane road can be busy during peak times…Pic..actually Coral Pink Dunes…Bring your off road machine(s)
Looked clean…pulled in & found spot…first screaming baby….after an hour of that…unattended dog started barking/crying….packed up & left for more quiet spot on US Forest dispersed area…much better…won't be going back to King's Creek ):
