The generosity of this fine town of 1,420 good folks. Full electric, waste cans, some picnic tables, and a restroom with showers. These are shared with the well maintained playground. It is a "free will offering" facility. No registration, first come first served basis. We were the only campers…
No longer called Siding 36
New owners and name Circle K Motel and Campground
Mary was very helpful in helping with reservation and clarifying the new same at same location
Will be visiting in July, will update review at that time
We stopped at the Mitchell KOA twice in 2020. It's located very close to the highway (tho no noise). Decent sized pull thru sites with lots of big shade trees. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Did not use the pool. Small camp store. Staff was very friendly. Cheapest KOA we have stayed in.
though I usually stay on the western side where the sites are more rustic, I stay with my friends who were in a camper. It was still very comfortable and quiet. It was also nice to have potable water!
Very small but awesome campground, quiet and nice laundry and small store. Owners were very nice and helpful. Would recommend and definitely stay again
Great small campground that i did my overnight at on the way to Keystone. Family friendly, with tent and rv/camper sites. I was hammock camping and had just enough trees to do so.
We stopped for the night and had terrific pull through sites, right off the highway. Clean, GORGEOUS bathrooms, friendly hosts!
Really nice pull through sites with water, electric and sewer. $30 per nite. Some shady sites. Very little road noise. No Bathroom or shower access. Plenty of area to walk a dog with nice grass.
This park is a nice little stop in a super small town. We came through just to visit the Ingall’s homestead and enjoyed this peace and quiet so much we decided to stay for four days.
It’s self service, so first come first served. We were the only ones here for a day or so and then a few others…
Lucked out again, super cute and quiet campground. Very accommodating with last minute reservation and adding a second night. Looks as if ran or owned by and older couple and they were super helpful. Love the quiet and can here loads nature sounds. Nice and shady for this part of SD. Nice looking…
Great place to spend the night. Only a few campsites. Workers are great. Dirt road going to it.
Only “issue” is the Grey water dump is on a slight hill, with the ground washed away, and people sometimes park around it.
We stayed here for a night on our way back to Wisconsin from Yellowstone. I called for a site as we were driving and he said he had availability. We were a late check in but he waited for us and gave us a site right near the entrance which was nice. We didn’t use any their facilities but it was a…
We stayed here in our way to southwestern SD. It’s your typical KOA experience. Nice staff and decent facilities. Not really close to much but only a short drive into Mitchell. There’s a small pool and a nice dog park. Many of the sites have large shade trees. Overall a pleasant experience.
Stopped here during our 2019 family vacation. Nice views! We did not stay in the main campground & we were almost the only people there! Nice sandy beach & swim area that the kids really enjoyed. Playground was nice too!
