"Sites have concrete pad, fire pit and table with FHU. An easy off of Highway 5 and close to Costco and many restaurants," noted one visitor about Southern Oregon RV Park. Sunny Valley Campground, operating from March through October, features 51 pull-through RV pads with both 30-amp and 50-amp electrical connections, accommodating big rigs with spacious, level sites.

    Ireland's Ocean RV Park

Really nice park for a short stay

Literally 100 feet from the beach, this tiny campground offers full hookups, 50 amp for 4 sites (the rest are 30 amp), a conveniently located, clean and tidy bathrooms with showers, a laundry and well-cared-for sites. Our 40-foot rig fit nicely into a pull-through and though our 20-foot truck would have fit fine diagonally, they have a free overflow parking area mere feet away. I don't know if it's the case year-round but they are set up to allow you to look at all of the available sites and pick the one you like. That was fun! Great to discover there was a 50-amp available AND it was a pull-through! Super convenient, great vibe here. Highly recommended for anyone that loves strolling on the endless beach and combing for rocks and shells. Terrific. Also walkable to Gold Beach. If you want to do any hiking, pop in your car and there are many options near by!

You will need to be aware that this is an old park. Things are rusting and need to be replaced, but it's a super place to stay. They could put about $20k into the place to make it up to snuff but no complaints here, it's so peaceful and tucked away!

    Driftwood RV Park

Basic Cramped RV Park, a Block From Ocean

We didn't stay here, but we checked it out while staying at Beachfront RV across the street.

All sites are full hookup, with 30 and 50 amp power, cable, and wifi.

There is laundry and free showers on site.  $49/night with monthly and long term rates available.  Your RV must be 10 years or newer, or you can send them a photo if you have a vintage or older RV.

The park is located in the busy port area, with cars driving by, people coming and going to the day use area to go fishing and hang out at the beach, the coast guard station across the street, as well as several restaurants and gift shops in easy walking distance.

Cell reception is good in this area for all 3 carriers.

    Turtle Rock RV Resort

Great for long or short term stay

I stayed here over the winter. The staff is great. They have a monthly rate in the winter months. They have tiny homes for rent, propane, laundry, a little store, and sites with hot tubs. The sites all have nice grassy patches, a picnic table, and a fire pit. There is a path to the beach/ocean. It’s a couple of minutes walk from any site there. Ranging from 2 to 5 minutes depending on how far your site is from the path. Everyone is pretty relaxed. Just a few people are permanent residents and I was one of the longest stays for the winter. It’s generally pretty quiet. They have a dog park. It’s a great place. I’d highly recommend it.

    Indian Creek RV Park

Good for a stop over to do the Mailboat trip but not a destination

Staff is friendly, restrooms and park clean. Mostly long term and seasonal campers for fishing using almost all pull throughs. Spots left over are weirdly arranged. Generally quiet at night, but noisy with residents talking loud (quiet colorfully) and many dogs barking during the day. Overall the stay was fine but there are better choices in the area.

    Grayback Campground

    Hidden Gem

Grayback Campground is a hidden gem if you’re looking to get away out of the crowds in September. The park is rustic and quiet. We stayed in site 37 next to the River. You will not be disappointed here.

Drive 12 miles up on Hwy 46 from Cave Junction to the Oregon Caves.

Kamp Klamath RV Park and Campground

    Amazing Staff

New fifth wheel with a sliding hitch was giving me issues with a back in site. The staff escorted the took the time to work with me to get the rig parked perfectly in the spot (great that he is a big rig driver!). The is a great location in the middle of the redwoods. Definately a ton of tent camping and lots of trails.

    Beachfront RV Park

    Quaint

Pretty location close to town, beach goes on for miles in either direction and campsites are located practically on the sand. The downside is the beach is usually busy and not much can be found unless you’re an early riser. Beach is pet friendly and rv is usually the best accommodations here.

What You Should Know

Seasonal availability varies: While some campgrounds operate year-round, others close during winter. A visitor at Sunny Valley Campground mentioned: "Nice spot with good vibes.
