The camp site is a short walk and was very nice. The porta potty was very big, clean and had hand sanitizer! In the morning there were many runners in the park but they stayed away from the camping area.
Gave it an extra star for proximity to Cuyahoga Valley NP, bargain price for a site with electric hookups, quiet setting and helpful hosts. No road noise, other campers very considerate. Sites are grass or overgrown gravel. Semi-level. Our first visit at site #1 was very difficult to level a 24 ft…
We stayed here one night in June and again in July. Both times were great. Level sites. Easy to get out for supplies. The wood for sale was not great and $$$.
Mostly gravel site..heavy construction where patio sites are. They’re not open. Very nosy machinery during the day we are here. Stepped up hill gravel sites. Very difficult to ride bikes on loosegravel. My grandson fell twice.playground is moderate at best. Speed limit is an issue. They seem to…
Great territory, with kayaks, hiking trails decent showers, and playgrounds and basketball hoops
Gave it an extra star for proximity to Cuyahoga Valley NP, bargain price for a site with electric hookups, quiet setting and helpful hosts. No road noise, other campers very considerate. Sites are grass or overgrown gravel. Semi-level. Site #1 was very difficult to level a 24 ft trailer and full…
A decent state campground. Extremely nice during weekdays, but overly crowded on weekends.
Highly recommend full hookup, unless you like waiting in line for bathroom / shower.
The view is gorgeous and the people are super friendly. Very clean bathrooms.
I wanted to write this review to help with some of the confusion. I've been there and back but sometimes I am still confused by this park.
You will want to know that they have more than one campsite (Linesville and Jamestown).
They also have more than one beach. The smaller beach…

The sites are big with a range of surfaces available. Family run and immaculately kept. Grassy areas are cut and lush, showers and bathrooms are very clean and the layout is excellent. They have a dog park that is fenced in, no bare spots (all grass), a rock and other apparatus for dogs to climb…
This place is AMAZING for families with kids! Tons of planned activities (about every hour) for everyone to enjoy. Huge pool, gem mine, mini golf, and homemade ice cream! *My 4 star rating is because after a huge downpour of rain for a day, our beautiful premium site flooded.
I have camped here at least once every year since I discovered Guilford Lake in 2017. The campground is clean (mostly) and quiet. It is dog friendly; all dogs must be leashed.
Quiet. Right on the lake; super easy lake access. Boat ramp. Swimming beach. Convenient (for me anyway).…
Great campsite. Connected to the Stow Silver Lakes Park with everything you need minus the showers
We fell in love with this little campground. While our site wasn't lakefront, many of the sites are right on the water. We only spent one night there but we're really looking forward to returning with more time to stay so that we can take advantage of the kayak and paddle boat rentals.
It’s definitely not a destination in and of itself, but if you’re into the nearby town (we aren’t) it could be good. Decent beach, some sand but plenty of Great Lakes rocks, campsites are spacious but a little confused. So, they’ve cleared the brush between sites but didn’t grow much grass… either…
