Had a great time tent camping. Very clean and people were friendly. Also had great price for firewood at the camp shop.
I have camped here many times and still enjoy the area. Lots of hiking, biking and fishing. Boat and kayak rentals are available. Beautiful and challenging golf course too. Fill your fresh water tanks because there are zero sites with water hookup.
We had a waterfront hookup ! So pretty especially in the morning with the sunrise. The road to get in was for the most part well taken care of. It was pretty quiet especially after quiet hours everyone was very respectful. It got really windy at night which was nice to keep the bugs away. Friendly neighbors as well. Thereās a few steps down to a gravel beach and an expansive view of the delta lake. There were bathrooms in the middle of our loop which was great and easy to walk to and it was very clean. There is a water full station when you enter but there are also a couple water spigots in our loop.
Close to Cooperstown and within driving distance from Oneonta. Quiet and spacious campsites
Friendly helpful staff. Well-run campground. Highlight is the tubing, kayaking and canoeing right on the river that leads to the campground.
Nice park with area loops that all have a central bath house. Cute cabins sprinkled all around the park. Lake with a nice beach and swimming area. Carry in boating. Great for tents or self contained RV.
Hard to give an accurate review for normal times, but TallPines works hard to keep it fun even in a pandemic. Great for kids, kinda close to busy roads but close to convenient shopping and local activities when they open back up.
For a two night trip, I was really impressed with how relaxing it was - and we had enough to do to make it active. You can kayak and swim in the lake, and see incredible stars at night. Would recommend bringing your bikes. Great that the campground is just far enough from the lake/park, which makes it a bit more private. Covid note: you cannot rent boats at this time, but you can still buy firewood, ice, etc.
Beautiful state park, nice beach and splash pad. Lots of room to explore, ride bikes, and fish!
