Enchanting place

This campground is beautiful beyond words.  It’s an enchanting, magical healing place that was very hard to leave.

Good drive and nice views

If you want to be in the forest it’s the place to go. Long road to get here and definitely need 4wd. Toilet was open. Got descent cell service with ATT and Verizon. RV would be a good option up here.

Stayed in the dispersed area - No frills camping

We stayed one night out in the dispersed camping area and pretty much had the huge area all to ourselves. I wouldn't say it was the greatest site in the world but the sunrise in the morning was pretty spectacular. And it was nice to have a clean bathroom and shower to use if we wanted to.

Nearly perfect but for road noise

The RV sites are well placed, the electricity worked well, and the asphalt pad was not level but made leveling easy. The proximity to trails is amazing. Group sites were closed and I worry that this area would be crowded if everything was open. Road noise was significant.

Peaceful Private Camping

Enchanted Circle Campground is not like most campgrounds. One, there are only 7 spots with a rumored 8th spot coming in the future. Two, the spots are generally big and filled with amenities. Our spot had a pergola, many solar lights, two fire pits, two hammock, a charcoal grill, log benches, fire…

Better than expected

I wasn’t sure what to think of the site before coming, but it was pretty and the road in wasn’t that bad. There were a good number of yellow jackets around. It wasn’t very quiet due to ATVs and chainsaws. The site had some trash and I wasn’t able to help pick up all of it but it wasn’t so much that…

Good Campsite

Campsite well maintained, lots of ground to walk, creek nearby for fishing. Awesome bathroom. Only a 4 star as way too much traffic rolling by on main dirt road to other parts of park and creek. And not enough shade. Couldn’t set up my awning as the ground was extremely rocky and cement like.…

Beautiful little oasis in the desert

Nice campsite that looks to be well maintained. Note that if you stay on Juniper Loop the website does say you need 100ft of hose to get water from the spigot. My site at #29 Juniper loop only required two 20 foot hoses and I only had to use one of my 20 foot electrical cables. However I would…

Gold Panning

Stopped here after talking to camp host at Morphy Lake. Said that the creek might have some gold in it and easy access, so we tried it out. Found a few specks! Park was very nice. We only spent the day but it was a perfect spot!

Hubby and I happened onto this beautiful state park. When we were there they had only been open for about two months. The camping spots were perfect equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring. Perfect place on top of a mountain with amazing view!

Great place to stay.

This is an excellent campground. It is well maintained, the staff are so nice, helpful and friendly. The sites are spaced out well. There is art scattered around the property as well as along the walking paths. The sunsets are amazing all within just 5 to 10 minutes from town. This is going to be…

Nice quiet spot

The park is a few miles out of town on the original Route 66. It is very quiet and comfortable. The sites are fairly close together like most KOA's. The staff and owners were very friendly. We really enjoyed stay. We were in a water and electric site which was perfect for 5 nights. The showers…

Nice but Could be Great

This Forest Service Campground is less than ten miles from the Santa Fe Plaza and is, thus, very popular and very busy. It should be noted that about half of this distance is on a somewhat steep, but very good road. Most of the sites are reservable, and are reserved well in advance, but there are…
