TravelerSite 46 was a walk-in site, but did not offer the privacy that is typical for walk-in sites. We could hear people in the tents nearby when they sneezed at night, and an RV nearby complained that my baby was chattering early in the morning.
TravelerThe Big Spring is awe inspiring and this is a perfect place to stay to see it. Nice quiet and yet lively. Plenty of deadfall if you’re not looking to buy firewood.

I called to cancel and they said it wasn’t 8 days before then they canceled it without refund and they gave up our campsite and said we couldn’t come. They were really rude on the phone. Rednecks are poor businessmen we offered to switch to the next week now they have a chargeback F-
ScoutLaura and Dave are very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and inviting. Nice trees and roomy campsites. The creek is nice for cooling down on a hot day, but there is a pool if you’d rather do that. Saturday is fun with different campground activities and an evening hayride.

You will hear some highway noise, but honestly, after years in trucking, it just felt like home. No restrooms or extras, but for a quick, no-hassle stop right off I-44, this place nailed it.
