"This little slice of peace was well worth the drive! My fiancé and I stayed for just one night and spent the entire time hanging out around the fire or lounging inside the A-Frame. Clean facilities: Consistent maintenance stands out to visitors. "Sites are very clean, good space, well laid out and pretty level. Good cellular and wi-fi coverage if that is important to you," reports Rick G. about the Pumpkin Patch RV Resort.
Staff interactions: Parks Pond Campground earns recognition for personable service. "Water rentals kayaks etc were very reasonable. Staff was very nice. Staff treated you like you were friends not customers. Restrooms were clean. I witnessed staff checking on them several times," writes Eric H.

Internet availability varies: Connection quality differs between campgrounds. "Only real disappointment was lack of cell coverage for AT&T and if you want internet you must buy a package. Upside to purchased package - there are very little slow downs. Just be sure to only use the nimber of devices you purchased. We paid $69 for 3 devices for 30 days," explains Sherry M. at Pleasant Hill Campground.
Site conditions: Terrain varies significantly between campgrounds. "Pretty small site but nice layout. Wifi was terrible. Had to listen to an argument from a neighbor. Someone was parked in the spot and had to move so i could back in," shares Ryan about Cold River Campground.

Activity availability: Bangor Holden KOA offers organized events for children. "Lots of organized activities and great Bingo on Saturday night. We did the pancake breakfast for donation, crafts, and wagon ride durring the day as well as enjoyed the well kept pool. The kids loved the playground and the ice cream window," describes Abby G.
Age-appropriate campgrounds: Some locations cater more to adults than families with children. "This campground caters more to adults and does not have too much for kids to do. Most of the campers were seasonals whose campsites were well-kept and they were quiet," notes a visitor about Pumpkin Patch RV Resort.
Tent camping options: Paul Bunyan Campground accommodates tent campers. "That camping could be so easy and fun! This is my first time actually camping in a tent for fun. The showers are nice and hot, it's quiet here at night, and it's such a chill atmosphere," shares Tasha H., a U.S. Army Veteran.
