FAMILY FRIENDLY

Great little campground right off the interstate. 2 swimming pools, a playground, game room, store, bath house, cabins, and laundry facility. A little dated, but for 45 dollars a night it was worth it. It was only 4 minutes from the ball park that we were here for. Our site # 117 was directly on…

Another swampy Louisiana SP

Almost feel sorry for the park system. All this rain & nowhere for it to go.

All in all it is a pretty nice park with level asphalt pads. Some full hook up, some w&e only. Didn't get to see most of the park as it was closed due to flooding. No cell service at all. Did not try the bath…

Beautiful, but go in the fall

The park is beautiful: trees, swamp, lakes, and bayous. Some sites (28-33 at least) have small piers on the canal for fishing or taking out the kayak. There are multiple boat launches, one in and several near the campgrounds. You can also rent canoes.

Great Place.

It been a while since I spend time here in the summer. This is a great place to get away and spend time with family and friends. There is different enough to do to keep everyone entertained. I will come back here again. Try it, I dare you! You will have fun.

Close to I-10..

This campground is top notch. Beautiful, new, level concrete pads to park on with adjoining concrete patios. The patio has a lovely swing for two. We also had two tables and a big, nice grill and a nice fire pit! The office has LOTS of supplies..anything you could need including fishing poles for…

Lake Fausse Point State Park

March 18-20, 2019 Road to park very rough, mosquitos real bad, no Verizon, trails were flooded & looked like we were camping in a swamp. Showers, flush toilets, free washer & dryer use, electric, & water. Signs said to not dangle your feet at the dock because of the alligators. We went…

Clean, Great for Families

This was our first trip to Lafayette KOA and just our third time camping in our new-to-us travel trailer. My overall impression is that the park is very well maintained, has attentive staff and many activities. We didn’t care for how the sites were so close together. Luckily we didn’t have…

Super Nice Place

We enjoyed a weekend without RV backed p to the pond.  Cement lots with fire circle of metal.  Be careful though in picking your spots because some are in the way back and have no trees, which could be brutal in a Louisiana summer.  Nice playground for kids, mini-golf, and clean laundry mat.  There…

Staff Attitudes have improved w/corona virus

We haven’t seen the woman with the bad attitude. We have dealt with a slightly older lady who is named Kim and she is very professional yet personable! We’re enjoying a 3 day stay. Campers are spaced apart to maintain social distance yet everyone is still being civil and polite.

Nice campground

We stayed here this past weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The hiking trails are well maintained and easy to follow! We were able to kayak through a lot of water areas as well! The park rents canoes for people to use if you don’t have your own. We got to experience the Dutch Oven Society, which…

Want to camp soon

Kayaked the loop, it has been very rainy, trying to find a middle ground between dry firewood/ground and not being eaten alive by mosquitoes seems tough, but an overall great place to spend a day!

Beautiful sunsets!

The views (and the sunsets) here can’t be beaten and most of the sites were right on the water. If you like to fish and are in a fully contained RV, you might find this place ideal to get away from it all. We travel in a 17-foot campervan, so this does not fit the profile of the type of camping we…

Tight spaces

This is a typical KOA with the normal KOA amenities and tight spaces. We normally stayed a month at a time and always were put in the section that is farthest away from the office and all of those amenities. The brunette co-owner is “curt, bordering on rude”. The rest of the staff are great to…
