If that’s not your thing there’s plenty of tent sites, cabins, RVs, and RV sites just a few of the many amenities are the activity center, the swimming pool, beach access to Lake Oconee ,laundromat, and dog park. There’s also plenty of helpful stuff ready to drive you down to the pool or continually working on upkeep of the property very nice. We were just passing through but I have no problem staying here again. Wonderful place.

There's a dog park, basketball and cornhole. Propane fill and dump station.

Very clean park and has Historical area, playground, tennis court, bike and hike trails. Not to mention beach and boating area.
Picnics, camping, boating biking and camping or just day use areas. Pet friendly and all around great park.
There is a small general store, but you are so close to everything if you need it, it's there.
Gread for the Georgia Bulldog crowd as its less then 30 minutes!

Situated on a little peninsula on Lake Oconnee in Georgia, this Georgia Power owned campground has 83 car sites and 8 tent sites. Be advised not all sites are directly on the water, so make reservations early.
GuideMistletoe State Park is another great Georgia State Park. Tucked way back in a big pine forest and nestled right up on the banks of Clarks Hill Reservoir it is well worth the effort to find reservations at this park. Over 70 sights with 30 amp, and water service, plenty of road side gray water dumps between sights and TWO dump stations. The Park Host do a fantastic job with keeping this park clean with multiple bath houses and a large amount of community space. For the hikers the trails are great, and very in difficulty to keep things fun and the backwoods hiking camp sights were great. The beach and boating facilities were very nice. The playgrounds were still closed off due to Con-19. We saw lots of wild life, lots of stars at night (gets really dark at night). I may be partial a little when it comes to Georgia State Parks but they have earned it. This one lives right up with the others I have visited. We had so much fun and created so many great memories that we can’t wait for our next adventure at another Ga State Park.
TravelerThe campground is situated on Strom Thurmond Lake. The campground is run by the Army Corp of Engineers. There is a boat launh and fishing pier near by Dorn Fishing Facility. Every site is on the water. You are minutes fom Georgia, The Strhom Thurmond Dam. The campground has bathrooms ans showers, there are pull thru sites, fire rings. The campground is only open from April til October.
