Best RV Parks & Resorts near Rancho Cucamonga, CA

RV parks near Rancho Cucamonga provide full-hookup options with varying amenities. Rancho Jurupa RV Park offers concrete pads with full hookups and spacious grassy areas for larger rigs, operating year-round with both 30 and 50-amp service. "Spaces are one of the cleanest I seen. Ranger is on constant patrol," noted one camper about the secure, gated facility. Bonelli Bluffs accommodates big rigs with paved sites, though weekend occupancy rates typically reach capacity. Fairplex RV Park provides water and electrical connections but features notably tight spacing between sites, making it challenging for larger motorhome maneuvering, especially during events at the adjacent fairgrounds.

Most RV sites in the region require advance reservations, particularly during fall and spring seasons when temperatures moderate. Dump stations are available at Rancho Jurupa and Bonelli Bluffs, though several reviewers mentioned limited availability during peak periods. Cellular reception remains strong at most parks given their proximity to urban areas, with LTE service throughout the region. Pet policies vary between facilities, with Rancho Jurupa allowing pets but implementing strict leash requirements. Summer temperatures frequently exceed 95°F from June through September, making functional electrical hookups essential for air conditioning. A visitor commented that Fairplex RV Park is "good for 1 night only stay" due to limited maneuvering space for larger motorhomes.

Anaheim RV Park - PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Disney Camping - Clean, Pool, Very Nice Restrooms/Showers

Anaheim RV Resort is close to Disney and is on the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) bus route. They have full hook up sites and room for large rigs - back-in and pull through. They are very pet friendly and even have a dog walking/feeding service (for an extra fee). There is a small pool and hot tub. The restrooms/showers and newly remodeled and very nice! Sites are all level and fairly large. We've stayed here 4 times and will be back again!

    Bolsa Chica State Beach Campground

    Bolsa Chica State Beach

The 4 stars is primarily for location. This is essentially a parking lot with power and water. We had a beach front space (B035) with a decent sized palm tree. The only one I really saw. The spaces aren’t huge so if you have a big rig or large trailer it will be tight. Most trailers parked their tow vehicle perpendicular to the space and some barely fit. There is no privacy, the small concrete area is shared with your neighbors as is the entrance to the beach side. People watching at the boardwalk is amazing. There is live music at the beach bars nearby which was cool. Definitely bring bike. There isn’t a lot within walking distance but downtown Huntington Beach and the pier is just a couple miles away.

    Waterfront RV Park

    Great place by the beach

Your not on the beach but literally on the other side of pacific coast highway you are there. They have smaller options for travel trailers with power hook ups only and pull through and back in sites available with full hook ups. They have a great pool, maintained laundry rooms bathrooms and showers separated by men and woman for that privacy you need. Overall an incredible rv park and very impressed by it being well kept and clean. Not to mention close to the beach

Mountain Lakes Resort - Membership Campground

    Great family friendly place

My wife and I have been coming up here for years. We used to use her parents fifth wheel or use a cabin but recently purchased our own travel trailer. Now we come up here with our kids and I can’t say enough about how family friendly it is.

    Pineknot

Pineknot Campground, Big Bear Lake, Ca

A bit challenging to locate via Google Maps... Just go up (south) Summit Blvd, when you get to the parking lot of the ski resort, veer towards the left, and just past a concrete wall, you'll see the little Pineknot Campground sign attached to an aluminium pole. The campground is very cozy, countless tall pine trees, clean bathrooms, clean sites, water from taps, no hookups, and not for big rigs. The hosts are friendly, but strict! No generators from 8 pm to 8 am, a $3000 fine if your campfire is left unattended, and no rowdy obnoxious behavior is tolerated! We appreciated the rules, and thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful, quiet, deep in the woods getaway!!

    Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park

One of the Best County Parks you will find

This is a great park in Southern Orange County. I have tent camped here for years with my kids in the Live Oak campground and never had a bad experience. There are hiking trails everywhere with lots of wildlife to watch. I switched to a travel trailer several years ago and now use Ortega Flats campground. The sites are big and well spaced, with 30 amp electric. The water is off for the time being. The dump station is very close by and easy to access.

Guide to Rancho Cucamonga

Rancho Jurupa RV Park features 50-amp electrical hookups and full sewer connections at most sites, with concrete pads and grassy areas throughout the Cottonwood section. Bonelli Bluffs in San Dimas accommodates larger motorhomes with spacious pull-through sites and complete utility connections including 50-amp service. "The spacing and grass were better in the Cottonwood campground, which has concrete pads and well-maintained grounds throughout," noted one visitor about Rancho Jurupa. Fairplex RV Park in Pomona provides urban convenience but offers significantly tighter spacing between RV pads, making large rig navigation challenging during peak periods.

During summer months, temperatures frequently exceed 90°F, necessitating reliable air conditioning and adequate power for cooling systems. Most RV sites within 20 miles of Rancho Cucamonga require reservations, particularly on weekends when spaces fill quickly. The Cottonwood section at Rancho Jurupa typically commands higher rates but includes full hookups and better site conditions than the Lakeview area, which primarily offers just water and electric connections with a dump station near the entrance. Pet policies vary between parks, with most allowing dogs but requiring leashes and proper waste disposal. Cell service remains strong throughout the region, providing reliable connectivity for digital nomads and those needing to stay connected while traveling.
