Rocky River Resort

We spend the whole summer here and couldn’t ask for a more friendly place! It’s perfect, from being right on the water to allowing pets! They provide everything needed to float but your cooler and food! They will carry you up river and your float ends at the campground! Been coming here 30 years…

Comfortable park

Right outside of historic Hardy AR, this is a quiet campground with large grass sites, power and water and on site dump station. Hardy is a cool downtown area, but everything closes down here by 6pm. We had a beautiful site on the river!

Great Camping

Well, this was our longest stay at a campground. The staff as well as all of the campers that we met were nice, pleasant, and helpful. We were there for a little more than a week, and always found something to do. Location is in a beautiful setting. The campground was a little crowded, but…

Great floating, campsites need work

PROS- First the floating was excellent on the northfolk River. Great wildlife along the way including cranes, turtles, ducks, fish. Fantastic on site restaurant with bar and grill that has Saturday karaoke and Friday live bands. The best showers with privacy and cleanliness. Has extras on site like…

Great camping

I have been camping at Fout's at Gamaliel Arkansas since I can remember. The sites are great but close to each other. The park is clean and well maintained with a playground for the littles, and they have clean, full bathrooms on site. Nearby to a dock and marina with rentals, bait and gear…

As rare as it's name

Fantastic scenery, camps, facilities and hosts. Family owned, family friendly. Located at the end of the world, it will take a bit to.get there but the drive is worth it.

  • The drove into the campground is amazing
  • Cabins for rent. Different sizes for different needs.
  • Plenty of RV spots

Country Life

I must make a comment regarding two other reviews. A lake is generally deeper than a pond. You weigh the depth and surface to judge if a body of water is one or the other. In Arkansas you will find a pond on a ranch or a farm. Now in some areas of the United States there are lakes that cover masses…

Beautiful primitive campsites

The sites are private and shaded, lots of trees. Sites are right on the river so you can hear it rushing as you fall asleep. Beautiful scenery with good hiking nearby. Sites are first come, first served, but so worth the risk! We LOVED it!!

Peaceful

Beautiful mature camp. Water abounds for all types of recreational activities. Campground has all the basic needs and is well maintained. Nice bathrooms and showers. Reservations only and if there has been a lot of rain some sites could be under water

Secluded but not on the water but not

Check out COE it looks like it is going to all or there abouts all reservations. Park was jammed this weekend but with the holiday not surprised. Plus many sites in the Mountain Home region were closed due to flooding. Not the campgrounds themselves but many sites that were on the water were in the…

Closed due to flooding

This is a wonderful small campground. Will not handle large rigs. Better suited to smaller trailers or tents. Right on the water so it is great if you have a kayaks or similar. Arkansas is experiencing flooding at this time and we were fortunate that our site was not flooded. We are gets more rain…

This would be five stars except for lack of showers. Beautiful site right on beautiful lake. Short distance from town. Small park mature trees.
