Beautiful
Nicely spaced sites, some have awesome pergolas over the sites, many leveled and outlined with landscape timbers. No showers but do have flush toilets and dump station.
Nice, Quiet Night with Nocturnal Visitors
The campground was pretty open, but there wasn't a breath of wind. It was a little pricey if paying online ($7.54 in extra fees), but we'll worth it. Bighorn park is absolutely breathtaking and underrated.

Desert Camping
This is a great campground if you're going to be out on the lake or hitting the off-road trails. Its literally a campground in the desert though there are some great views in the surrounding areas. Location
Horseshoe Bend - Bighorn Canyon National Rec Area is located in Wyoming
Directions
From Lovell, Wyoming, travel two miles east on Highway 14A, and then turn left on Highway 37, which is the only road leading into the Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. It is twelve miles from Lovell to the park entrance. Shortly after entering the park, there is a road which turns to the right leading to the Horseshoe Bend Campground, which is two miles from the Highway 37.
