Horseshoe Bend is a great camping area. It is right next to the marina, where you can buy a few supplies, and there is a roped off swimming area nearby. Great place for families to get away.

No cell signal, which is not really a bad thing in my opinion.

We have found scorpions, however, so always be aware of your surroundings!
