Best RV Parks & Resorts near Peshastin, WA

Several RV parks near Peshastin provide accommodations for motorhomes and travel trailers. Blu-Shastin RV Park in Peshastin offers full hookup sites with water, electric, and sewer connections, some backing up to the Peshastin River. "Blu Shastin was a pretty nice find just a few minutes from popular Leavenworth and Cashmere WA. We got a decent full hookup site that was backed up to the Peshastin river," noted one camper. Thousand Trails Leavenworth, located north of Peshastin, features spacious pull-through RV pads with 50-amp service and operates year-round. Icicle River RV Resort provides big-rig friendly sites with concrete pads, though some reviewers mention the sites can feel close together. Most parks in this area accommodate larger RVs up to 60 feet in length.

Seasonal considerations affect RV camping availability throughout the region. While Icicle River RV Resort operates from April through October, other facilities like Thousand Trails remain open year-round. Cell service varies significantly between locations, with stronger signals typically available at parks closer to Highway 97. Many RV parks require advance reservations, especially during summer months and Leavenworth's popular Oktoberfest season. Most facilities offer sanitary dump stations, though not all sites include sewer hookups. Pet-friendly policies are common, though some parks restrict certain breeds or limit the number of animals per site. Propane service is available at select locations or in nearby towns.

    Indian Camp Campground

    Free range cows

Camp here for free for 7 days with a discover pass! 2 pit toilets, fire ring and picnic table at each site. Big areas for RVs, horse trailers and group sites. No water hook ups or dump stations. River access and lots of trails for nature walks. Very beautiful area! I had phone service and I use Sprint.

    Salmon La Sac

    Remotely Close

Salmon La Sac campground feels remote but is within two hours of Seattle. You will not hear the hum of freeway noise or cars swooshing by at high speed, as this camper’s haven is at the end of a paved road and sits smack in the middle of the Cle Elum and Cooper rivers. The growl of water flowing quickly downstream over huge granite boulders can be heard from most sites, with some sites nicely placed adjacent to river’s edge. The sites are decent in size, some with adequate tree coverage and others with plenty of sun. There are restrooms dotted throughout but some were lacking hand sanitizer which in the midst of a pandemic was baffling. There also didn’t seem to be enough trash bins for the number of sites, but there weren’t any overflowing with refuse. Just plan to walk a decent clip to dispose of your spent items. With that said, the bathrooms were clean and the camp host greeted new arrivals with a smile and useful information. The weather and time of year was not ideal for playing in the water without a wet suit but is a great spot for whitewater kayakers to put in. There are many off-road adventure opportunities in the area for ATV, UTV, and other 4x4 enthusiasts. Fly fishing from the shore is also popular and if you have a boat, Cle Elum Lake is not far from the campground but be warned later in the summer the water level gets extremely low. Lastly, there are so many hiking trailheads in the area, no one could be disappointed. Salmon La Sac campground has no electric or water hookups but does have potable water available from hand-cranked pumps (well water). Sadly, the spigot on the pump doesn’t fit a standard hose, so we weren’t able to get much water into our travel trailer this made for a less than ideal experience but we managed for our short stay. Many RV and trailer campers love this place. We sure do!

    Johnny Creek Campground

    Small paradise

First visit to Washington and I went camping in my hammock. Perfect cold weather. Unfortunate that the wood was too dry for any fire. Next time!

    Leavenworth-Pine Village KOA

    We'll be back

We stayed here one night while passing through and wish we could have stayed longer. Very clean facility with lots of amenities for a great price and not far from town. We were able to secure our spot last minute which was nice. We also booked a pull through site since we recently got our pop up camper and knew we may arrive in the dark. It was well worth the extra few dollars. We plan to be back next summer and take full advantage of the campground.

    Wenatchee Confluence State Park Campground

    Super nice campground

Even though 99% of the time we boondock, we’ve stayed at this campground twice now. Once in the summer months and now in November. This last stay was FCFS. There isn’t any water hookups any longer for winter but there are many sights that have electric and dump hookups that are still operational. The camp itself is very well maintained. They are all drive through spots with a a picnic table on a concrete pad connected to a small gravel area that has a fire ring. A lot of open grassy area and the sites are definitely spaced far enough apart you don’t feel you’re on top of each other. Even in November, there’s groundskeepers maintaining the sites, leaf blowing, etc. would not hesitate to stay here again!

    Lakeshore RV Park

Use a water filter, be ready for the sprinklers

Park like setting. Pull throughs are right on top of each other. Recommend back in. They water every night, you have to pull everything in, every night. Water came out brown each morning with out a filter.

South Fork Snoqualmie River Dispersed Site

    Great Spot

I travel and work remotely so I’m always looking for free places that have cell reception and this place hits the jackpot. I’ve come in twice on a Saturday afternoon and have been able to find an open spot with my 18 ft travel trailer, I have Verizon and have 2-3 bars of service, it is very close to the interstate so you’ll hear a constant hum of cars but it’s very nice to feel like you have your own slice of the mossy old growth forest.

    Douglas Creek

    Hidden Suprise

Arrived around 2pm to the Douglas Creek Trailhead. The 8 miles of road H to get to Douglas Creek Rec area is gravel, primitive -no signs. Hiked the canyon for ~3miles. Lots of groundhogs and birds. Campsites are roughly half mile from the parking lot for hiking. The gravel road here is much narrower, and has more aggressive rocks/stones. Between the parking lot and campsites several large puddles/ponds took over the road. Campsites have pull throughs for RV’s. I chose the third site I saw, steep downhill to the fire pit, but close walk to the creek. The grounds are minimal, no services (no toilets, picnic tables, hookups, trash bins etc). Had no cell service. Weather was in the upper 60’s, no clouds. Perfect getaway.

    Lake Wenatchee State Park Campground

Great winter camping option in the Leavenworth area!

We stayed here in February and used the campground as a home base for a XC ski trip. The winter camping area is in the South Campground in what is the summer-time day use area. Tents can set-up near the water in the trees. Vans and RV have to stay in the parking lot. We only had two other groups camping on a Thursday night. Apparently it gets busy even in winter during the week-end.  There was an open heated bathroom with shower and a warming hut with a woodstove (not on and no firewood) used by skiers. Views are awesome and access to groomed ski trail network was also right off your steps.  Decent AT&T cell reception.
