We found this place one weekend by chance, have stayed twice now and love it. Wonderful family owned place, who also work do most of the work there and are very helpful. Our 12 year old son loves the pool and being able to ride his electric bike around the campground. The host does a great job…
Stayed overnight here on September 14th . Pleasantly surprised to find such well kept facilities. Bathrooms modern and very clean. Nice pool area. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Nicest KOA Journey we have seen in a while.
Beautiful nature preserve with large 50+ site campground. Tent sites around $28. Within 6 miles of stores and amenities. Helpful camp hosts know which sites may be best for certain equipment.
Called in on Saturday Morning got a cabin at a great price for the night. Family oriented place. Older couple that runs it is super nice and friendly but doesn’t bother you. Shower house clean water hot hot. Quiet time is respected.
One night stay on way to Florida and it was the perfect stop. Small, family friendly with great amenities and conveniently located off I-26

Bathroom was clean, with a little mildew. Shower was hot.
Owner of the rv park is very…

I had determined that this campground was the perfect distance and look to host my first ever outing. I was nervous and excited as I rolled up to the park.
The visitor center staff were welcoming and assisted in securing the few last-minute items that I needed (firewood, ice, popcorn). The…

Halloween is awesome here, plan on a solid week here to see things in the area. Gem mines, waterfalls, brewery and shopping in nearby Asheville. There is plenty to do year round, make sure to buy a family pass for games etc. they really cater to family oriented fun. The tent sights high up require…

Nice creek running nearby and a few short walking paths. The drive to spruce pine is scenic and long but head back toward bat cave and there ade neat little adventures to have with the kiddos. The roadside trout streams are great and you can even catch some dinner behind the gem mine in town. It…
