Best RV Parks & Resorts near Falls City, OR

Several RV parks operate within 30 miles of Falls City, Oregon, providing year-round accommodations for motorhome travelers. Premier RV Resort in Salem offers full hookup sites with both 30 and 50 amp electrical service, though sites tend to run narrow. Blue Ox RV Park in Albany features meticulously maintained grounds with concrete pads and full hookups, earning high marks for its cleanliness and amenities. Emerald Valley RV Park in Jefferson accommodates larger rigs with spacious pull-through sites and complete utility connections. "The sites are fairly short and narrow," notes one RV owner about Premier RV Resort. "Our slides extended well past the concrete pad on both sides, leaving very little room to get around our RV."

Seasonal availability remains consistent throughout the region, with most RV parks operating year-round despite Oregon's variable weather patterns. Cell service varies significantly between locations, with travelers reporting stronger Verizon coverage at Blue Ox RV Park (two bars of 5G) compared to spotty reception at other facilities. Most parks maintain on-site dump stations, though Premier RV Resort in Lincoln City notably lacks this amenity. Pet policies generally welcome dogs with standard leash requirements, though some parks enforce breed restrictions. Propane service is limited at many locations, requiring advance planning for extended stays. Reservation systems operate differently across parks - some accept same-day arrivals while others, particularly during summer months, require bookings weeks in advance.

    Premier RV Resort

    Good Base Camp

Our stay at the Lincoln City Premier RV Resort was good.  The space was clean and the utility hookups were well maintained and functional.  And, staff were very nice and accommodating.  We upgraded to a pull through and in hindsight should not have.  It was close to the road, and many of the trailers in the pull through section appeared to be long term occupants, at least a couple left early in the morning for work and returned in the afternoon.  The location although easy to get both north and south from because it is adjacent to the highway, was in a part of town that seemed a little economically depressed.  I would have rated it higher but for the price, I expected more.  UPDATE  We visited this park for a second time in 2023 and selected a back in site near the north east section of the park and loved it.  We are changing our rating to five stars.

    Premier RV Resort

    Nice CG, but small sites

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow. We were in site 57 for 4 days in mid September. Very friendly staff. The CG is clean, quiet and well maintained, but the sites are fairly short and narrow. As others have mentioned, tow vehicles usually extend into or are parked partially on the roads through the CG, but the roads are fairly wide throughout the CG. Also, our slides extended well past the concrete pad on both sides, leaving very little room to get around our RV. The sewer connections are not threaded, so you’ll have to weigh down your sewer hose. There is a fair bit of road noise from the highway. There is a nice open area, off leash pen and network of short trails for walking your dog. AT&T coverage was fair, ranging from 2-4 bars of 5G with speeds up to 19 MB/s. The CG WiFi speed varied considerably, from next to useless up to 1 MB/s. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were 11 OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.

    And pet friendly.

Port of Newport RV Park & Marina

    Pricey for parking lot camping!

This place offers a regular RV park for something around $80/night, or dry camping for about $40/night. The dry camping area is literally a parking lot, but you have a nice view of the marina and also it’s really nice to be this close to town so we stayed here for a night. You’re sharing a parking lot with Rogue brewery and distillery, which is very cool. You’re also walking distance to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, also very cool. The town of Newport is cute and fun and there are many interesting and cool shops to browse, and many of them are dog friendly.

We didn’t use any of the amenities here, but we were told there is wifi and showers. There were dumpsters (no recycling), and a free dump station for campers. There was non-potable water at the dump station, but I am sure they would also let you fill your tanks with potable water.

    Seal Rocks RV Cove

    It's All About the View

This was our second time here, and we enjoyed the first so much we decided to spend a month over Christmas to watch storms and hopefully see the whale migration. As Seal Rocks RV Cove is right off US-101, you take the second left at the sign if you are coming from the south. Per our instruction email, we headed straight to back-in site 18 with FHUs. Since we were going to be here a month, we fiddled more than normal to position our 40’ 5th wheel into position. Otherwise, this is a fairly easy back-in. Most of the positioning was to get more center on the gravel pad because there are tall hedges on both sides. This is a nice privacy feature in most sites. The water pressure was around 60 psi, so we used a reducer. Water and electric are more centered on the site. Site 18 has a great view of Seal Rock and the ocean. Another great feature of these sites is that the utilities are on both sides for back-ins like us, and Class As and Bs can pull in forward. We needed about 15’ of sewer hose with the back-in connection. The $45 nightly rate was based on an off-season monthly rate, and we did not have to pay extra for electricity. We had one bar on Verizon, which was usable for phone calls. We got a clear shot of the NW sky for Starlink. There wouldn’t be a problem for a southern shot as well. There’s a fire pit and picnic table at the back of the site. There’s a small fenced dog park and a beach trail path that leads out of the RV park to Hwy 101 to get to the beach trail. The park WiFi was pretty good, but there were not many campers here this time of year. The park managers are friendly and accommodating, and they enforce their rules. Two in particular were dogs on six-foot leashes and no LED lights at night. We were lax with our dogs because the park was empty, but they quickly reminded us of the rule. As you are right off US-101, there is road noise, but it quiets down at night. Seal Rocks RV Cove doesn’t have a laundry, but there’s one nearby in Waldport and two in Newport. There is so much to do and see in this area. We spent a month and still didn’t get everything done we wanted to do."

Silver Spur RV Park & Resort

    Not terrible.

I ended up here last minute due to weather on the Oregon coast. I’m in a 40’ coach. It’s a very well kept RV park, a lot of long term residents were here. The office is very nice, the lawns are very nice, the office parking lot is asphalt. Has a nice little children’s play area. There are very bumpy gravel driveways to the RV parking spots (possibly just the time of year causing the poor road condition). The RV spaces are very easy to get into being angled. We stayed in a pull through space, easy in and easy out. Only giving a 4star rating for the very small RV spaces. Was very crammed for anything more than a last minute stay.

    Blue Ox RV Park

Disneyland is not the happiest place on earth

This is the happiest place on RV Earth! What a beautiful park! Amazing trees of every kind and flowers and bushes all cared for meticulously. Great wi-fi. Management is exceptional! Indoor pool, multiple laundry rooms, rec room - all spotlessly clean. Close easy access to freeway but minimal noise. Full hookups of course, Wi-Fi is strong and fast, 48 channels of sharp cable TV picture. We are putting this on our A list and will return whenever we're passing through this area again. Two bars of 5G Verizon. Beautiful city soccer fields and park just outside the entrance to the park. Great place to walk and relax. Recommend.

    South Beach State Park Campground

Awesome Location, Great Walking/Bike Path, Great for Kids!

What a great spot. You can now book online. Great for families. You can easily walk to the beach. Awesome paths for walking or biking. I would tow the kids around in a bike cart and we could ride up and down the pathway, under the Newport Bridge (it's safe), to the Jetty and near Rogue Brewery!! Love this spot. Good public bathrooms, power and water hookups. Dump station there but no sewer at your camp site (only draw back), otherwise it is awesome!! The outer edges of the loops are better for bigger RVs, travel trailers.

    Sun Outdoors Portland South

    Glamping

This was my first experience at an RV Resort. It is located right of the interstate but feels secluded. They have both back in and pull through sites, a little tight with neighbors but I was told it is better than other RV resorts. Beautiful landscaping, indoor pool and hot tub, small market, laundry facilities, horseshoe pits on beautiful grassy area. Yes to dogs and cats and no breed restrictions! They have a nice grassy area with poop bags! Bummer no fires 🙁 If fire pits I’d give the 5th star! Also, within 15-20 mins there are amazing countryside, wine tasting, hiking/walking, Willamette River with off leash areas for dogs, and downtown Portland. Additionally there is an off leash park 8 mins away. Overall a good experience, we enjoyed our stay. My photos don’t show much of the place but their website’s photos represent well.

Camping options near Falls City, Oregon include several RV facilities within a 40-mile radius. Most parks operate year-round with varying levels of amenities and site configurations. The Willamette Valley location provides moderate temperatures with typically wet winters and dry summers, affecting ground conditions at campgrounds throughout the seasonal cycle.

What to do

Beach access exploration: At Sea and Sand RV Park in Depoe Bay, campers can utilize the beachfront location. "There is a path about half way down the park on the left side that went to the beach area access which we took and walked on the beach during low tide, but during high tide there is no beach access," notes Robert D.

Swimming year-round: Indoor pool facilities remain available regardless of season at Blue Ox RV Park in Albany. "We came in late after opening's hour with our 30Ft RV. Very well organised he found the last spot where we could stay for the night. Our 3 kids loved this place too and is from now on also their favourite campground! Great WiFi, pool, equipments etc," reports Erwin V.

Boat rentals: River recreation options abound at Coyote Rock RV Resort & Marina. "We had an okay time at this site. It's very open, but not unpleasant. They have full hook-ups, cable tv and boat rentals. The cell service wasn't great. They also have cabins for rent. It's right on the river and there are cute little otters that like to show off for the guests," explains Christie U.

What campers like

Yurt accommodations: Alternative lodging at Premier RV Resort in Salem offers comfortable facilities. "Last summer I rented a yurt at Premier RV Resorts, Salem OR, and I can't wait to stay there again! We had a darling porch with bbq and picnic table, Keurig coffee maker, 2 bedrooms, dining table and living room too! Cable tv as well," shares K L.

Oceanfront sites: Premium waterfront locations provide direct views at Sea and Sand RV Park. "The entrance to the oceanfront terraced sites will take your breathe away! Wooded sites are also available. The ladies at the office and camp store were very friendly and gave a us a bag of saltwater taffy upon arrival because we were new guests!" relates Colleen T.

What you should know

Cell service variations: Connectivity differs significantly between rv sites near Falls City, Oregon. "AT&T coverage was fair, ranging from 2-4 bars of 5G with speeds up to 19 MB/s. The CG WiFi speed varied considerably, from next to useless up to 1 MB/s. Reservation requirements: Planning ahead remains essential for securing campsites. "Reservations can be made 12 months in advance online. Not sure if I would bring the kids here as I didn't see many. Mostly super friendly folks in their RV or camper...eager to swap stories and insights," explains Michelle B. about Sea and Sand RV Park.

Site spacing concerns: Available room between camping spots varies significantly across facilities. "It's very pretty by the river but people that are long term have junk in their front yards and the managers allow that! Makes it look junky! Rules aren't enforced," cautions Maura K. at Premier RV Resort Salem.
