    Hoped for more.

Good place to stop for a couple days. Some good spots up front but the back not so much. Has restaurant in the store but did not try.

    Double D RV Park

    Sufficient for our needs

We stopped because it was the first site east out of Texas. The place looked closed. No one was here. We chose a spot with trees and because it was borderline hot, plugged in a fan. There are bathrooms and showers. No fire rings. Just off the highway so some noise. Adequate for our needs.

    Sayre City Park Campground

    Great place!

Convenient, inexpensive ($12) and well kept. What more can you ask for? How about a playground, pool and miniature golf? We just stopped for an overnight, so didn’t use these amenities, but they;re right there. We called for a reservation and were told its first-come, first-served “but there’s always room”. we were one of three campers on a friday night in August.

    Elk City Lake Park

Quaint city lot, on the lake

Quiet spot, right on the lake. As mentioned, approx 8 RV sites, plus handful of tent sites. Held back a star because, for whatever reason, they lock the restrooms from 7p-7a.
