Tips from RVers
Site leveling: Winton Woods Campground offers various site types, though leveling can be challenging. "When we arrived, we found that none of the back in sites had been plowed! All of the pull through sites were plowed and there were plenty open," warns Denise about winter camping.
Internet connectivity: Cellular coverage varies by provider at cabin sites. "Internet here on t-mobile 5G home is 90Mbps down and 6 to 20Mbps up. Verizon on cellphone, only 10Mbs down, 1-3Mbps up. ATT cellphones are similar to Verizon," reports Johnothan R. about connectivity at Cowan Lake State Park.
Utility placement: RV hookups at some sites require longer cords than standard. "All hookups are in the middle of the site my standard cord was not long enough. Water pressure very good, wifi but they want no streaming?? 50 amp service was adequate," notes Bryan Y.
