Best RV Parks & Resorts near Greenville, MI

Three Seasons Campground in Greenville provides full hookup RV sites with 50-amp electrical, water, and sewer connections from April through September. The established campground accommodates large motorhomes with big-rig friendly sites and standard amenities including trash service, showers, and toilets. "Typical RV park for size of lots but thankfully it was not packed when we were there, so we weren't on top of each other," noted one camper about Three Seasons. Double RR Ranch RV Resort in nearby Belding offers similar full hookup capabilities with 50-amp service from May through early October, while Cedar Springs RV Resort, located north of Greenville, provides water and electric hookups with dump station access and operates seasonally from May to October.

Seasonal availability affects most RV parks in the region, with typical operating dates running from April/May through September/October. Several campgrounds near Greenville require advance reservations, particularly during summer weekends and holiday periods. Pull-through sites tend to be limited at many parks, making advance planning essential for longer motorhomes and fifth wheels. Pet policies vary but most parks like Three Seasons and Double RR Ranch welcome pets with standard restrictions. While Wi-Fi is available at several RV resorts, cellular coverage can be inconsistent in more rural locations. Based on reviews from The Dyrt, weekend occupancy increases significantly at campgrounds like Three Seasons, where one visitor mentioned "the weekend had a little more of the party people staying up later but it was no problem."

    Dutch Treat Camping & Recreation

    Great spot for big rigs

Drove in with our class A pulling a trailer and called ahead, friendly staff was able to accommodate us with a pull through spot that was easy access, a slip to pay via Dropbox in the morning, and the hookups we needed (50⚡️, 💩, 💧). Easy access to highway and not far from a cute little town (Hudsonville??) where we found a really good Mexican place and a Meijer’s. Would visit again when passing through.

Hidden Ridge RV Resort, A Sun RV Resort

    Modern RV resort

Hidden Ridge is a modern RV resort within 8 minutes of Gun Lake and sandwiched between Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. There is no tent camping available at this location.

All sites include a concrete pad, fire ring and full hook-up. 120/150 amp

Lots of activities for the whole family. There is a pool, hot tub, bounce pillow, splash pad. Children’s activities are planned throughout the week and adult activities, as well.

Gun Lake is crystal clear meaning you can see the sand/pebble bottom. There is fun to be had on this nice-sized Lake.

Not far from Hidden Ridge is a race track that is busy each weekend with all manner of race cars.

    Benton Lake Campground

Larger sites in the woods along a lake

In the Huron-Manistee National Forest is this rustic campground. The sites are really big and spread out. They are split between 2 loops. The first loop was almost filled so we checked the second one and found a site away from others. It felt like we were alone until we took a walk around the campground. Picnic table, fire pit and lantern stand are standard. Paved spots for rv’s with plenty of room for tents. Vault toilets are spread throughout. There is even a parking area for visitors.

We walked down the short trail to see the lake. The trail goes partially along the lake but it’s not very long. We saw 2 piers- one had a jet ski tied to it. Camp was quiet enough to hear the tree fall just outside our campsite. Would it still make a noise if we weren’t here?

This is a peaceful discovery that is perfect for a getaway.

Ionia State Recreation Area — Ionia Recreation Area

    Great activities for outdoors lovers

Ionia has so many great outdoor activities for almost anyone.  There is a disc golf course, mountain bike trail, equestrian trails, hiking trails, a beautiful no wake lake perfect for swimming, kayaking, or fishing.   The beach is fantastic especially for little kids who might not be the best swimmers ready for Lake Michigan or lakes with lots of boats and waves to deal with.  Nice and sandy and a nice store and ice cream shop at the beach.

The campground itself is very nice, but you may find the activities are a short drive away from your site to get there.  The sites are all a little bit shallow especially if you have a larger travel trailer you may find it a bit tight.  There is a great variety of shaded and sunny sites.   There is only one bathroom for the campground so it can be a bit busy and it could probably use an update.

    Sleepy Hollow State Park Campground

I know another great Michigan State Park

What can I say, I love the Michigan State Parks.  I find they are the best, Sleepy Hollow is not different and it has so many things to do.  I would advise if you want to camp there on a weekend to make reservations well in advance.  We stay here because there are only 2 campgrounds in the Lansing East Lansing Area this being one of them and the other does not have all full hook ups and charges more.  When we visit our daughter at Michigan State University this is the place we stay,  20 - 30 minutes into the University depending upon the traffic.

It has large wooded sites only electric but you can fill up the water at the dump station.  Each site has a picnic table and Fire ring.  Each campsite has a asphalt pad. They sell fire wood at the campground office. Bring what you need or you can go into St. johns to the Kroger or Walmart.  they have 2 main camping loops with 2 loops in each of the main loops and a shower restroom in each main loop.  The restrooms are very clean and kept up.  I love the showers  hot water and for me that is hot and great pressure, I could shower all day.  Sure beats our shower in the RV.

The State Park is on Ovid Lake and it is a beautiful lake, great for fishing, canoeing, paddle boards, kayak, and swimming. they have a shelter for you if you have a big party.

They also have a group campsite and a picnic area for large groups. d You can also bring your horses go to the Equestrian area and unload and get on the trail.

You can rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards.  They also have a great play ground for the kids and a fishing pier. Bring Bikes or just hike on the trails and head down to the beach.

    Steamboat Park Campground

    Cute place on the river

This campground is out of the way right on the river. Great place to fish. They are expanding and adding more spots as well. The have full hookup and WiFi. The pool sits looking right over the river. The also really awesome thing about this park is that it is year round. Year round parks are so hard to find in Michigan. This one is awesome. Great spots in the trees and also back in spots right on the river. The only issue we had was the smell of sewer every once in a while. But the park owners were fixing it up and everything else was great. Really cute park with great prices on the river.

    Amazing

Definitely the best camp ground in West Michigan! Clean sites, friendly staff, and many amenities. Camp store, laundry, showers and bathrooms, huge pool, hot tub, pickle ball courts, kids play ground, bikes, scooters, and kayaks for rent (with a kayak launch) and boat slips on the water. They have access to a dog park as well. Home away from home!
