Teton Corners has been a favorite fishing and stayover spot for generations, and we felt we should step up and adopt it since we didn't want to see it developed, ripped apart or closed off. Know that by staying here, you are helping preserve this small piece of natural beauty in Idaho. It may not be the biggest preserve, but you have to start somewhere. Come stay a night!

Come to our riverside getaway at Teton Corners. This 3 acre peninsula into the Teton River provides amazing trout fishing right from your tent door (licenses issued just 1 mile down the road). This gorgeous nature area is minutes from town, with easy access to HWY20 and HWY33. Deer, moose, bald eagles and osprey frequent the area year round, as well as beaver, waterfowl and night owls. RV dumps right down the road, as well as a 27 hole golf course, if that's your thing. Or just relax, dip your feet in the Teton River and listen to the water pass by.
Note: River levels fluctuate over the season. We've tried to take pictures of all water seasons for reference.

Coordinartes: 44.16547,-112.90392. Beautiful views. Large dirt and gravel site, right along side to Skull Canyon Road, about a mile from ID Hwy 28. Canyon walls on each side. Rough narrow rocky track to the site from the highway; recommend high clearance. High humps on this track. Small rock fire ring. Grass and sagebrush all around site. Some leveling may be required. Tent camping possible. Very peaceful; can hardly hear road noise from highway. The only vehicle that drove by was a national forest truck. No cell service. There are several boondocking sites, some with vault toilets nearby, along Hwy 28 in the Birch Creek Recreation Area.
FS type campground in N ID just off I-15. Campsites at the top of the campground are best. Loop A (we were in A05) faces a road with lots of dry camp and UTV traffic. Also only 1 vault toilet in that loop, while upper has a 2 stall vault toilet. Nice level sites, mainly shady sites. Bear cans. Walking up road we had access to a number of trails some of which are for UTVs but were not busy while we were there. LOTS of RV groups up the road.
This is a beautiful spot. A little difficult to find. The road leading down to the lake looks like it’s someone’s driveway adjacent. I drove by it a few times before actually finding it. Once I got there though definitely worth it. It looks like a gravel parking lot. There were 2 small RVs already there when I got there; and a truck had pulled in sometime overnight when I woke up. The lake is gorgeous. It’s quiet and dark and very peaceful!!
I enjoyed boondocking here in my tent. I had good cell service with Google FI wireless. Also I was able to get by the road and make it in my Honda Accord. Nice place even had a bear box for food storage.
This place was hard to find - I almost gave up. The GPS directions and coordinates on this app are both wrong. Take Warm Slough Rd off 4000 N. Ignore the no trespassing signs- they refer to the land on either side of the road. You can also search "Warm Slough Campground" in google maps. There is a smaller campground at the end of the road, and a larger one with pit toilets if you hang a right at the brown sign with the various camping rules.
Lots of options with fire rings and tables. Really nice and peaceful once you find it :-)
GPS for my spot: 43.8731862, -111.8663080
Nice park,we stayed in what seemed to be a new section. Beautiful views of the mountains.
Great campsites, with plenty of space. Water and toilets are close by and clean. Plenty of access to the river. Nice mature trees throughout.
This camp was so beautiful. It’s nestled right on the lake and the sunset is just stunning. The bathrooms were so clean and there was even a mural painted on the walls. There are several places to camp along the red rocks pass road if you don’t want to drive all the way down to the lake. The lake sites are so beautiful that if you opt out you’re definitely going to miss out.
Very helpful hosts. Clean paved site. ATT was available but strength varies. Lots of areas to explore and close to Yellowstone.
Free
Great spot. Good views if you get a spot close to the the creek. Easy to get to and the road was in good condition. Some cell phone reception. Some flies. Some noise from the road close by but not an issue. Please be respectfull of wild life in the area (there are fish and small frogs in the creek). Please dont disturb them, dont get in the creek
Super awesome spot! Water was close and incredible. No real fire ring but there was a ring from rocks made. Happy to see some people nearby
Really windy, thankful for stakes lol
I highly recommend staying here if you’re around Yellowstone National Park. I’ve been on a 2 month road trip around the West and this has been one of my favorite dispersed camping sites. I planned on just crashing here for a night but ended up staying for a couple days because of how beautiful this spot is. If you go, drive all the way down the gravel road and there is a nice place for people to camp out right at the level of the lake. It’s clean and a good place for families to camp out!
friends and i left yellowstone at dark and just needed a place to sleep a decent distance from the park so we knew we’d have a place to sleep. arrived late and just found a spot and went to bed. cool spot, nothing crazy but great for a quick night’s stop.
I’ve lived in Idaho Falls almost my whole life and visited Ashton and Island Park countless times and had no idea this was here! I lucked into a first come spot because someone had cancelled their online reservation and was able to stay two nights here. Dog friendly, zero cell service like at all.
I got spot 4, right next to the delightful camp hosts! Electricity at each camp site, two double sites, all the trees you could ever want! A very very quiet and peaceful campground. 10/10. Will be back.
It’s steps away from Lower Mesa Falls! Not far from Ashton if you forget something and close enough to West Yellowstone if you want to stay somewhere further from the park!
Really enjoyed the stay. Really nice shower are. Nice electric hook-ups at the rv sites. Only some sites have septic, and unfortunately, the dump station was down during our visit, but we got to hear stories from a native American. It was truly an amazing stay. We also enjoyed bird watching and kayaking. Of course, our main point of the visit was Yellowstone not very far away. ( gas and other stuff is cheaper in Montana)
Almost seemed a secret with 5 spaces used out of 30+ during prime time Yellowstone Season. Has a boat dock on Lake Henry. Fishing but not from docks. Vault Toilet. Big rig spaces. Only draw back was the bugs from the lake.
This was a great spot for a couple of nights right on the water. Multiple spots for larger rigs.
Wonderful spot. Forested & shady, but with some meadows too. Several trails for ATVs & hiking. Rather warm, but not bad for July.
Only real issue is that it seems to be ONLY used by ATVers and large trailer campers. Can be loud, as everyone drives around, but otherwise not bad.
Easy to find, a little rough road getting in but a great spot, relatively private. No bugs when we were there. It’s just the campsite and a fire pit. No bathrooms, water, electric. We pulled in a pickup just fine and saw a few campers at other sites
This is a 25$ a night stop. Has water fill stations and two bathroom stations with pit toilets that are so clean! We got there at midnight and the camp host came out and talked with us and they had three open spots which was surprising for it being late and during July season. Quiet and spaced out. Amazing fire pit and new picnic tables and a stand for our cooking stove. And cellphone signal which we haven’t had at any spots! Lovely little spot
Granted we got in late, but there really weren't any visible turnoffs or clear places to camp. We got to the far corner of the lake and found a clearing by a fence close to the lake. Lovely view and very secluded, but even on the drive out around the other half of the lake we saw no clear camping spots.
Easy drive & great views. Plenty of space between sites. Definitely very buggy but none seemed to bite. They did stop flying around after dark and seemed to just hang out on our tent.
Nice little spot just off the highway. Close to Yellowstone.
We couldn’t get a spot down by the water but there are plenty of spots along the road.
Only complaint was the flies were crazy during the morning but tis the season.
Plenty of space here with a beautiful lake view. Mountains on all sides of you. Very little tree coverage. Some rodent holes surrounding the tent site. Tent faired well and wind was not a serious issue by any means. There was fire ring already made at the tent site we chose. Few others camping in RVs but plenty of space/privacy between them. 45 minutes from Old Faithful and Yellowstone
an easy to get to, beautiful, quiet, and peaceful lake setting. Cows mowing in the distance, bird sounds on the water and sunset over the hills. It was quite buggy when we first got here, but as soon as the sun started setting, they died down and the temperature dropped significantly. Several spaced out spots. One section had three RVs, but then there were three smaller pull off sites that were very private.
We decided to camp on the way back up from Jackson and found this little gem! There were plenty of RVs camping in open areas right by the entrance but if you follow the dirt road, there’s more secluded spots within the trees. The road was a bit rocky, but our sedan made it through with some careful maneuvering.
