Big Meadows Campground is near many of the major facilities and popular hiking trails in the Park, with three waterfalls and Big Meadows within walking distance.
Camping fee: $20 per night
Reservations: in early spring, Big Meadows Campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis only. Beginning in early May, there are a combination of reserveable campsites and first-come, first-served sites available. Group sites are available and can be reserved up to one year in advance.
RV Information: features pull-through and deep back-in sites which can handle most RVs and a tow vehicle. No electric or water hookups. Campground has potable water spigots and a dump station.
Generators: use is limited to certain areas and times designated on campground map.

Blue Angel Park is open year-round supporting active duty, retirees, DOD civilians and their family members. BAP offers two RV campgrounds, boat launch ramps, cabins and trailers, primitive campsites, 170 dry storage lots, a 35 acre paintball field, three 18-hole disc golf courses, geocaching, hiking/biking trails, miniature golf, fishing pier, children’s playgrounds, beaches and picnic areas, pavilion rentals, sailing classes, as well as sailboat, paddleboard, kayak rentals. The facility also has a small outpost store that offers a variety of items to include, ice, snacks, sodas and much more. Please see the links on the right side of this page for more information about our amenities and rates. The park has a total of 158 RV spots available with water and electrical hookups. Both campgrounds offer showers, restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds. Laundry facilities are available for both campgrounds. LP gas fill ups are available at the Outpost Marina.

Stayed for a week and while not on the beach is quiet and close to the items we wanted to go to. Fishing from their bridge is permitted. Flat concrete spots with picnic tables. Laundry service. Full hookups. 20 min drive to the beach and had a blast. Ants were bad. And we were heavily warned about not letting kids be out unsupervised even to walk the dog.

Had the best time at Splash RV. It was my son’s birthday during our stay and they delivered a huge wooden cupcake with balloons to our campsite the day of his birthday. Staff is constantly cleaning up. Plenty of washers and dryers for laundry. Cute camp store and small arcade. Pool amazing is fun and clean.

Very clean, well kept park. Good space between sites. The only downside I could find was I10 is close enough to be heard. 5 minutes away from battleship park. Plan for a whole day there if you really want to see everything they have to offer. Only an hours drive to the Naval Air Station at Pensacola. Highly recommend the museum there as well as Blue Angels practice viewing.
LegendWe have been to Splash RV two times now. Last time was before school started, and it has been our granddaughters favorite RV park so far. There are a lot of activities planned for the kids….the free donuts on the weekend, were a hit. Our sites were back in, with full hook ups, level site and picnic table. The lazy river and waterslides were her favorite. We especially liked the armband so the kids were able to purchase food, drinks, game tokens for the arcade, which was great on the day that it rained the karaoke was also a lot of fun, and the foam party was a blast to watch. Staff was very nice. The bathrooms and laundry facilities were clean and large, but We did not use. The dog park is very big with a dog washing station. Piggly Wiggly is nearby as well as gas stations and dollar store…it is a little more pricey than we normally spend, but it was worth it to see the smile on our granddaughters face. I would recommend looking at the map online, before booking, to make sure you choose the right spot for your RV as some are closer together than others.

ScoutThe amenities and Waterpark were great. The bathrooms were super clean and updated. There were a couple downsides though. The sites are literally right on top of each other. We had a premium back in site and literally almost took out 2 signs trying to get into because of how they ‘optimized’ the spaces. The site itself was level however there was a bit of an incline to get into it which my hitch took a big chunk of concrete out of. Then there is the ever so calming sound of I10 whizzing by all hours of the night (but that’s to be expected when I made the reservation). Overall it was nice and affordable for the area…. Just not really my cup of tea.

I have been going here since I was a little boy and was finally able to take my wife to camp here. I love this place. The road to the damp grounds are very sandy and iffy when it rains. The camp site itself is nice and private. The bath house needs cleaning from the roaches and spiders. It also has a small playground. The canoe trip is a must!!

I stayed here in July with my 8 year old grandson. It rained nearly the entire time, but the owners kept us up to date via text on serious weather conditions, indoor activities for the kids and held a great BBQ with live music Saturday night once the weather cleared. The bathrooms were clean, pool was beautiful (they texted to let us know when they opened as weather cleared) and we had a great time. I highly recommend them.

We had a great vacation at this cabin. It was full of supplies and goodies. Bed is and pillows were super comfortable. Cabin is beautiful decorated with lights and candles. The property is very peaceful, full of trees and plants. There were recliners and seats throughout the place for us to relax. We enjoyed the nature and birdwatching the most. Bathroom was impeccable clean at all times. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. He gave us our privacy and was available at all times when we needed him. I will 1000% recommend this place and will for sure be coming back.

From our perspective, perhaps not worth what they were charging on the day we stayed-- in the $80 range. Lots of road noise off of the 10, because of the trucks passing through, which made it hard to sleep.

RangerMeaher is a great state park near Mobile. We stayed one night. Many of the sites are shady. The park streets and sites are asphalt. The park was clean and quiet except for road noise which wasnt bad. Restroom was clean.
Stayed in back-in campsite#33 which was waterfront, shady and pretty level. It was an asphalt site with grass on either side. There was long enough parking for my 34 ft TT and truck. Neighbors are not too close. The site included: picnic table on asphalt and BBQ pit. Utilities: 20/30/50A electric in middle. Water in middle, good pressure. Sewer in middle with screw-on fitting.
AT&T had 3 bars of 5G and Verizon 2 bars of LTE service. AT&T Speedtest: 8 Mbps down, 2 Mbps up. Verizon Speedtest: 2.5 Mbps down, 6.4 Mbps up. Did not use the available free Wi-Fi. Would stay here again. We camped at Meaher State Park in a Travel Trailer.
