The campground is back open which was good. The whole area was full on a Thursday and this was the last campground with a spot. So we got lucky. The trees have been clearcut and now is a mess. The stumps remain with lots of loose branches everywhere. Handy for having campfires. There are sites around the perimeter that are still quite nice. There is a nice stream that flows along the east side. The campground is near many of the recreation activities so it was a good location. The outhouses were clean but no water. We had a moose visit the campground each night. Would have preferred some of the other campgrounds but Nash worked well and we got lucky. It was a good weekend.
Great campground on the shores of Turquoise Lake. Lots of clean toilets. Sites are well placed with space between them. Some are tight for a trailer. The bugs were not bad. The lake is beautiful and lots of things to do. Definitely will come back. The campground hosts were the best!
Great campground. Some tight roads getting into and around the campground. The road in is a single lane with river on one side and rocks on the other. Some of the arms to the sites are also narrow. To park in our site we had to turn around and it was a tight spot. The site was perfect. Lots of big rocks. Spots were far enough apart. Will mark this as a definite to return to.
